T.j is husky, 14 years old, and is in 7th grade. He can be a great friend. But did anyone know that he can be capable of changing the lives of many people? A good friend is someone that is kind, caring, and sometimes has to risk their life for their friend. In Roll of Thunder Hear my cry by Mildred D. Taylor, T.J. has been friends with 4 kids: Cassie, Stacey, Christopher John, Little Man from a family called the Logans for a very long time. But he is greedy, self-confident, and mean. He has already flunked school more than once because he chose to. Because of T.J.’s inner desires and choices, he has caused a lot of trouble for his family, friends, and community. T.J.’s choices have caused him to break the only friendship he has with the Logans. His choice to get Mom fired didn’t make him a friend to the Logans. “Did you tell it?
