Robin Roberts was born in Tuskegee, AL in 1960. After her father retired, she moved to the Mississippi Gulf coast. When Robin came home after Hurricane Katrina in 2005, my family and I met her and took a picture with her. Robin was one of those people who you knew wasn’t acting interested in your problems, she really cared.
