In this research paper I will explain the firm foundation of the Church and its history. There have been many conflicts in Christianity's first decades. In many parts of the world Christians have been persecuted, but nowadays, Christianity is the largest religion, with 2 billion people and about a third of the world's population. As you can see, this religion has ground a lot through the years, despite all of its controversies and conflicts in its history and the main points to discuss in its foundations is Christianity's first three centuries, its growth in the world, and why Christianity is important in the world's history. An overview of the early Christian religion shows that many missionary movements were happening at the time. One of the first movements was Jewish Christian Movement, along with the Pauline Christianity. Both emerged from different backgrounds, the Jewish Christian Movement being created by Jesus's disciples and people close to Him, and the Pauline Christianity being created when Saul, who originally persecuted Christians, had an encounter with Jesus and converted to Christianity. This is why Christianity is so important to the world. Having about ⅓ of the world's population as believers, people are greatly influenced by its ideologies. Many countries, for example, have an official religion set, which affects the way the government works or governs. Furthermore, Christianity led many people to wage war against people from other religions or non-believers, who they thought were satanist, like in the Crusades. If these movements didn't happen, people nowadays would have a different mindset and the people from the countries affected could turn out to equal today's nations. Altogether, if Christianity hadn't grown as it did and taken its roots, history would be completely different from what it is
