Competition
Competitive forces are the pressures put on a Business by other
organizations which are competing to increase their share of the same
market.
The main competitors for Richer Sounds are broken into 4 main
groups:
1. Large chain stores. E.g. Curry’s, Dixon’s and Comet
2. Small specialist shops
3. Large online electronic suppliers. E.g. QED-UK
4. Large online general supplier. E.g. Amazon and Tesco.
These Businesses’ compete in many ways. The 3 main ways are
Advertising, Lower Pricing/sales and through Market shares. With
competition like that, Richer Sounds obviously has to work hard, and
they seem to be doing well.
Richer Sounds are constantly researching the sales prices of their
competitors, so that they are able to reflect this knowledge on their
sales prices, and come up with new strategies.
I am now going to show you a SWOT Analysis I produced, for Richer
Sounds. A SWOT Analysis is basically a diagram showing the Strengths,
Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats of a Business.
The strengths and weaknesses of a Business are internal; this means
that Richer Sounds would have control of them.
Opportunities and threats are external, this means that Richer Sounds
can not control this, but must respond to it.
Where there is a threat, there is a strength. Where there is a
weakness, there is also an opportunity.
Richer Sounds could respond to competitive forces in many ways. To
respond to these competitive forces they wou...
Sonance is a well-established company providing high quality customized speakers for in-home entertainment. After launching their Sonance 1 model, they progressed into multi-room amplification and eventually designed the first built-in system that would support the iPod. Operating as a lean organization with only 60 employees, they relied heavily on a network of dealer and installer word-of-mouth advertising. By 1999 Sonance had reached $46 million in sales. Similar to other companies affected by innovations in technology, Sonance was forced to change strategic direction in the early 2000’s. The newly acquired leadership needed to redefine marketing efforts in response to increasing low cost competitors. Major
The strengths of the book are very apparent. The book provides an in depth description of Mary Stuart from her appearance, to the sports in which she liked to play. Also, the book shows pictures of the castles in which Mary stayed in and also of Mary and her first husband, Francis II. In addition, this book can creatively make you visualize specific events that occurred in Mary’s life.

“If you see the magic in a fairy tale, you can face the future” (Danielle Steel). We subconsciously live vicariously through fairytales, we want to escape the real world in hope for a different reality, and we really do believe the grass is greener on the other side. Fairytales are something that we go from not being able to get enough of, being “too old” for, and finally being old enough to appreciate the most beautiful aspects of them that we wish to one day be our reality. Unlike our real lives that we live minute to minute, day to day, year to year, with ups and downs and with a million possibilities of outcomes, fairytales always remain the same, with the minutes of reading, and the intoxicating words that make you cry, laugh, and dream. The importance of fairytales will live on forever just like the authors that wrote them.
Here’s a task… Ask an individual one of the factors that may cause unacceptable behavior in adolescence. The culprit is Hip-hop. This genre of music receives a bad reputation for its violent, overly sexualized and graphic lyrics. Stereotypically, a typical rap video may consist of an African-American male, riding in the newest car, accompanied with one or more attractive female. This image although it may seem very simplistic poses different implications on both male and female adolescence. The messages sent out are different and without proper guidance, an individual perception of beauty and values on life may change. Rap is an expression of art, where individuals try to escape reality. It is a presumption that adolescence are risk-takers and are easily influenced by the media. The images that are portrayed in rap videos, may influence an adolescent male to think that certain lifestyle is ideal and it is the path to success. This research will examine the implications rap videos have on the mindset of young men in America. In addition, to young men, what messages are sent out to adolescent female viewers? In this research, the terms “hip-hop” and rap are used interchangeability.
al, 2006, p. 432). Cobb & Boettcher (2007) determined that males will more likely experience “priming effects of misogynistic rap because they will be less motivated and might reinforce negative attitudes about women because this content is “typically gender specific in han will women to thoughtfully process the content of the lyrics” (p. 2037). In turn, “because women are often the targets of misogynistic rap lyrics,” they will be more inclined to reject these demeaning messages (Cobb & Boettcher, 2007, p. 3029). More than three-fourths of survey respondents agreed that most rap/hip-hop music suggests women are just for male sexual satisfaction, and in turn, nearly all students surveyed found rap/hip-hop songs to be more offensive to women than men. However, most men who took the survey held negative views about rap/hip-hop music compared to most women holding neutral views of the
New entrants to an industry, with a desire to gain market share, will put pressure on prices, costs and capital needed to compete. It can affect the profit potential.
The first six years of Mary’s life were very politically tense. Before Mary was sent to Fontainebleau Palace she was relocated multiple times, on account of the political situation of her birth. At only six days old, Mary’s father died, and she was inaugurated as the queen of Scotland. Mary was then separated from her mother, and spent five years at Stirling castle, under the protection of England, until age six, when the English king died, the previous marriage arrangement was null. She was taken to France, where she spent some time in a convent while her new marriage arrangement was agreed upon. The young Queen took liking to the nuns, and they claimed Mary “…would

Tony Hawk was an overall interesting man that was not just known for skateboarding. He was also very known as a businessman. He gained a lot of money from things like video games, clothing lines, and also being a commentator at the X games for a short time. He made more money with that stuff than he ended up with when he was skateboarding. He won his first awards as a skater when he was 16 and 17 years old. His career ended shorter than anyone would have expected because of the popularity really going down for skating and that meant less pay for the skateboarders.

He must've had something on his processor, forgotten now, but he doesn't have those often. It's very rare for someone like Soundwave to blank out of reality, even dangerous when he isn't paying attention to what is going on around him.
Popular music is dumber, duller and more homogenized than ever before. This isn't a matter of taste or subjective opinion, it's an objectively provable fact. A ten year analysis of number one songs on the Billboard charts found that some lyrics are getting measurably less intelligent.
