Love stories. We all like them. We all want our love life to be like the Nicholas Sparks movies where we get the man or woman of our dreams. It makes us think about what we want to have one day. When Mrs. Wesbecher said we are going to watch a movie that was based on Romantic Literature, I got excited. I definitely thought that it was going to be just like a Nicholas Sparks movie. Why I thought that knowing that the Romantic Literature was from centuries ago, I’m not sure. After watching this movie, this was nothing like an entering, pull on the heartstrings kind of movie. It was quite frankly terrible because it never got anywhere and nothing ever happened. The same thing would happen over and over again but in a different scene which made …show more content…
Keats seems kind. He seems that he actually cares about other people and is selfless. He knew he could not be in a relationship with Franny because he was not financially stable to have a wife. He did not want to put his wife through wondering if they were going to have dinner or not or be able to get the things they need. He also sent love letters to Franny. He wanted her to know that he was still thinking about her and still cared. You could automatically see that he wanted this to work the fact that he went away to work to get money for their future but was still making sure to be able to communicate with her. Franny seems like someone who loves hard. Once Keats went away, she said that when she doesn’t hear from him, it feels like the air gets sucked out from her. Even though John didn’t have money, and she was aware of that, you knew that she was not in it for fame or money. She just wanted love. She could get a little mean and rude sometimes but honestly, I think that was because she was not able to be open and honest about their relationship. I think it would be hard for anyone to be happy all the time when you are told you can’t love the person you already do like because of money. Both, Franny and Keats were easy to understand and follow what they were saying. They were good at showing there was a connection between the two. I would give the acting a 10/10 …show more content…
They were laying in a grassy area and it just happened. It was so peaceful. She looked beautiful in her red and white striped dress. You could tell by the way that they were looking at each other they were in love. He would kiss her and then stop to look at her and then kiss her again. I felt like that is how a first kiss should be. The sound in this scene was so clear and so was the camera angles. Each scene moved cleary. You could hear the slight breeze which made the grass move and rubs against each other a little bit. It made the scene more romantic. Even though it was a small detail, it took the scene to the next level and you could feel the love between

This is a dependency that Zooey doesn’t seem to be used to, most likely because it was originally a reliance on Seymour. In all reality, Franny needs someone to take the role of Seymour and push his teachings on to her. Seymour was a heroic figure to Franny, and she took all of his teachings almost religiously, as she saw him as god-like. Without the guidance Seymour had provided Franny as a child, she lost her direction and began her mental collapse. This crisis didn’t come directly after Seymour’s suicide, but only occurred when she began to question her purpose and meaning in life. She becomes emotionally distraught and begins taking it out on other people. Everyone Franny interacts with can see that something is wrong with her, though they can’t tell if it is mental or physical. During lunch with her boyfriend, Lane mentions “I’m worried about you. I’m serious. What the hell’s happened to you in the last couple of weeks?” (27). While Zooey is not the only one who sees the change in character, he is the only one who can understand it, therefore the only one who can help. Though he is confronted with a sensitive matter, he knows he is the only one who can “fix”

What We Talk About When We Talk About Love. It is a story that explores all
The best romantic stories are those with happy endings such as Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty and many other similar stories. In these stories, the ending is so romantic and so content that they even state, “and the prince and the princess lived happily ever after.” Unfortunately, in reality, these ‘happily ever after’ stories do not exist, in contrary, many end up in distress. Some more realistic and mature are the stories by Mary E. Wilkins Freeman: “A New England Nun,” and Edith Wharton: “Roman Fever.” These stories are written in a very romantic way that they may appear similar to those with happy endings but at the end reality hits in its very cruel nature way of life.
Keats’ poetry explores many issues and themes, accompanied by language and technique that clearly demonstrates the romantic era. His poems ‘Ode to a Nightingale’ and ‘Bright Star’ examine themes such as mortality and idealism of love. Mortality were common themes that were presented in these poems as Keats’ has used his imagination in order to touch each of the five senses. He also explores the idea that the nightingale’s song allows Keats to travel in a world of beauty. Keats draws from mythology and christianity to further develop these ideas. Keats’ wrote ‘Ode To A Nightingale’ as an immortal bird’s song that enabled him to escape reality and live only to admire the beauty of nature around him. ‘Bright Star’ also discusses the immortal as Keats shows a sense of yearning to be like a star in it’s steadfast abilities. The visual representation reveal these ideas as each image reflects Keats’ obsession with nature and how through this mindset he was able
The story began as it could be a fantasy. They seemed like the perfect couple. They were happily in love.
In this book, Julie Barenson is a young widow, whose husband Jim died earlier from cancer. Her husband left her two unexpected gifts. The first was a Great Dane puppy name Singer (this gift was delivered the first Christmas after his passing) and the other gift was his promise that he would always be watching over her. About four years after his passing, Julie is twenty-nine years old and is too young to have given up on love just yet. She may be ready to risk caring for someone again but she just can't figure out who that person is yet. She starts dating Richard Franklin, a sophisticated, handsome engineer who treats Julie like a queen. The other person she has an option to date is Mike Harris, the down-to-earth guy who was her husband's best friend.

Throughout Keats’s work, there are clear connections between the effect of the senses on emotion. Keats tends to apply synesthetic to his analogies with the interactions with man and the world to create different views and understandings. By doing this, Keats can arouse different emotions to the work by which he intends for the reader to determine on their own, based on how they perceive it. This is most notable in Keats’s Ode to a Nightingale, for example, “Tasting of Flora, and Country Green” (827). Keats accentuates emotion also through his relationship with poetry, and death.

In my opinion, this novel was a very romantic, and happy love story and overall an wonderful novel. I loved all the plot twists throughout the story. I believe Sparks did an amazing job writing this story. He managed to make the reader laugh, cry, and smile all in a matter of a few pages. The story line is intriguing and very relatable to the dreams of young girls.
