I have a lot of personal feelings, like my favorite TV shows, movies, and food etc. One of my favorite shows of all time is Buffy the vampire slayer. Honestly I’ve always been interested in the supernatural and paranormal things. Buffy the vampire slayer portrayed a girl named Buffy who was chosen to save the world against the Demons, Vampires, ghost , etc. I’ve rewatched the entire series about 3 times. My favorite character from the show was Buffy and her best friend Willow, but Buffy the vampire slayer was not the only supernatural show I liked. The other supernatural show I watched was Supernatural. It was a show that portrayed 2 brothers who were trained by their father to kill demons and save the world. Their father trained his sons to fight demons because his wife was killed by a demon. After season 8 of Supernatural I stopped watching the show because it started getting really dumb and …show more content…
It starred Jennifer Love Hewitt who played a lady who could talk to and see ghost. She ran a Antique Shop located in a small town, and every time she saw a ghost that was in need she would help them. These show inspired me quite a lot, even though it showed supernatural things that is not real. It inspired me because she helped people in need and got no compensation from it besides feelings of happiness. Ghost Whisperer made me think that there are people out there who do things without a reward. Criminal Minds had a huge impact in my life as well. It showed a team of behavioral analysis unit solving crimes with behavior analysing. The team were close friends who cared for each other a lot. It made me want to become an analyst for the CIA in the counterterrorism department. Now it makes me want to take classes in high school and college that help me become very smart and capable with computers. Criminal Minds had a lot of action, drama, and mystery. It is probably one of the best shows out
It was a little boring at first, which might have just been because I didn’t really want to see it in the first place, but the storyline was pretty good. I personally like humor, so I tend to pick shows that I know will have some humor, but I’m proud of myself for seeing something outside of my comfort zone.
It has taught me to never give up hope, even when times are hard. My favorite character is Vivian. I liked her a lot because in her life, she has been through some dark times. As a young girl, she was always loving. When she grew older, that same love never died, but flourished. After getting to know Molly, she gave her that same love that she always had. Even though Vivian is an older woman, she heart never grew
As I continue to watch the show, I find myself identifying myself with some of the characters. Sometimes I even find myself thinking
The show Supernatural revolves around the lives of two brothers Sam and Dean. Sam and Dean are hunters of all things mythical, evil, or supernatural. When the pair first meet the Trickster in the show, he is disguised as a janitor at a university (Shiban, John). Unbeknown to the brothers, he is wreaking havoc on the school and the town through a series of dangerous jokes and tricks. The trickster in Supernatural is eventually identified as a demi-God, Loki who is very similar to the Norse god Loki in the Prose Edda. They share the power to conjure images and imaginary events up, just for the fun of it. The trickster is able to rebuke Sam
My favorite episode of this television series was episode twelve called The Mortal Cure. This episode was about Coraline came back and she had found the cure for vampire. That is what Mick always wanted so now Mick was anxious to reveal out what is the cure. And everything begin at the day when Mick returns to his building and he smells the senses of the vampires that are waiting for him. He goes inside to find two men at the balcony, a black eyed vampire named Lance and another vampire that was standing beside Lance.
What exactly are these shows that are causing so much controversy in the criminal justice and forensic science fields? The more well known CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, reeling in almos...
Teens tend to connect better to shows that relate to them or something they know like high school. One plot that stuck out to me was the school shooting; a student was bullied to the point he brought a gun to school and took his own life instead of others. Growing up in a time where bullying is everywhere and dealing with a similar issue made me think what could students do different to to change someones life to make things better for them. As a teenager students don't think of the consequences their actions could have on another person.
A zombie is a monster that has been a horror movie legacy for many years now. Zombie is defined as “a dead person who is able to move because of magic according to some religions and in stories, movies, etc.” Zombies haven’t always been the creature that we see today though. George A. Romero merged the old-forgotten zombie into the standardized version we see today. James Conroy writes, “With his 1968 film Night of the Living Dead, George Romero brought the concept of the slow-moving, flesh-eating zombie into mainstream American culture.” (1) Night of the Living Dead not only set an iconic image for zombies, but it also brought issues you would not normally see in a Zombie film, dealing with race and gender stereotypes.
I picked Charles Manson to do this project on because it would have been cliche of me to pick someone who has done good in life. I think we should recognize the negative impacts in life as well as the positives. I personally really like shows that involve crime because I always want to know why they do what they do. It just fascinates me that someone can have that much control over someone to make them believe what you believe, no matter how messed up it is. I really liked learning more about Charles Manson and his Family because it’s just the type of thing I’m interested in. It honestly intrigues me how people commit such massive crimes and not have a single guilty bone in their body.
Media portrayal of crime and criminal justice has become incredibly widespread in the last decade, with crime often considered both a source of news and entertainment. As a source of entertainment, crime and criminal justice have emerged as central themes across various sources of media. Most individuals do not have any direct experience with the criminal justice system, so their only source of information on this topic is the media. Particularly in television shows, portrayals of crime and criminal justice can be seen in everything from courtroom dramas to nightly news programs. Indeed, the popularity of crime shows has lead to some of television’s most enduring series, such as Law and Order and CSI. Because of this, fictional
Have you ever watched a TV show that has a lot of supernatural in it, like vampires, witches, and werewolves? I have, I have watched The Vampire Diaries and The Originals. The Vampire Diaries is a supernatural drama that deals with revolving around one girl. The Originals is about the oldest vampire family and their point of view. The Vampire Diaries and The Originals are very similar and different in many ways including the older, younger, and stronger teenagers that are vampires, witches, and werewolves.

From monsters to high school problems and witchcraft, Buffy is a well known and well written show that hit #3 in TV Guide’s list of the “25 Top Cult Shows Ever!”. Joseph Straubhaar (2009) stated that television genres continue to develop over time in response to changes in audience tastes and original creative ideas. Indeed, television genres will keep on developing to meet the expectations and satisfaction of the audience. Crime drama series have become one of the most popular television genres within our society. It attracts the audience by dealing with themes and issues relating to the news and current affairs that the viewers are aware of. Crime fiction has various sub-genres including detective fiction such as Monk (2002-2009) where a detective investigates and solves a crime. Furthermore, Law & Order (1990-2010) represents the legal thriller and courtroom drama sub-genres as these crime dramas focus more on the struggles of the law and deal with many criminals such as rapists, murderers etc...and the strain of defending the innocent people.
Charmed is a good work of art, although it is fictional, it mentions about real life. The season is about supernatural, it does transfer various valuable lessons from every episode about relationships, careers, marriage, childbirth, illness and the deaths of loved ones. People can find the all the true life stories from the show. Noticeably, there are three main moral views from this show such as feminist racist, good side and evil side, and family love.
