The scene that impacted me the most was when Coach Boone took the team on a run. One morning, during camp coach took every team members for a run. After long run through rain and mud, they come to the place where there was a fight battle of Gettysburg. He described attitudes reflects leadership and hatred destroyed his family. Fighting among ourselves lead to destruction among family. He shows positive attitude by expressing his opinion about racism. He told them to stop the conflicts from racism and maintains peace and unity. …show more content…

One of the example of discrimination in the movie is When all the players are on the lunch. Louie Lasik who is one of the players on the team. At lunch, he tries to sit with black players, but black guys didn’t like when Louie sit near with them. He was quickly criticized by one of the black guy. He ends up conversation saying he has no people they all are friends for him. After hearing from him, white guys look on with disgust. Later Louie Lasik talks about his roommate Rev who loves to preach when coach Boone calls him up in front to share something about another player in team. I like the way Louie show respect to all the black members in the team.
Discrimination: Treating people differently through prejudice: unfair treatment of one person or group, usually because of prejudice about race, ethnicity, age, religion, or gender.
I don’t support for discrimination. I have been witnessed discrimination in my life. My friend recently applies for job on hospital, though she was experienced she didn’t get job because they only hire white people. I was so sad when I heard from her. I feel everyone should be treated equally and give opportunity if they are capable of jobs. They should not be treated …show more content…

Julius politely said hello to a white couple but they totally ignored him. They follow old fashioned discrimination. If Julius was a white male the woman would have stopped and said hello back.
At school, one of the black players Petey was talking to some white girls. When the white male friends of the girl saw this, they became angry and started to repeatedly hit Petey. When Bertier went to stop the fight, his white friends said to him looks like he makes animal friend. The white students were so discriminative they referred to the blacks as animals.
I was surprised how black student are referred as an animal. I have experienced a similar situation. I was not treated good at work because of my race.
As they changed their thought and feeling about black people, they come together in a team and respect each other. They come together and make it work every day. They respect each other and believes harnessing the mutual understanding into a team effort to achieve perfection. They decided to change the way they tackle, they win and realize football is about controlling the anger and to treat equally to everyone. They resolve the problem and differences by showing respect and treating each other as a brother. As a result they achieve victory every
