Religion In The Middle East

Religion is a way to answer the world's questions.The group that uses religion is called religious group.THis group uses rituals and a belief system to a god or gods depending if it’s monotheism or polytheism.Monotheism is the belief in multiple gods.Polytheism is the belief in more than one god.Religion is important to our study because it help us understand different religious cultures and how it affect its followers.

The Middle East has three major religions :Islam, Judaism,and Christianity.Islam,the youngest religion,has followers called muslims.Muslims follow the Qu’ran.Their God is Allah and they believe,”Their is one god Allah and Muhammad is his prophet.”Christianity,The middle aged religion,was founded by God's Incarnation,Jesus.The

Trinity, the name they gave to their god.Judaism, the oldest religion of the Middle East,started monotheistic religions.Jews are the followers of this religion.They called their god Yahweh or Jehovah. Their holy book is called the Torah.The three major religions of the Middle East are similar and different in many ways,but they are all different religions.
Religion causes many conflicts within a region.People's beliefs counteract each other. One example of this that Americans will not forget is 9/11.Terrorist group,al-Qaeda,wanted to drive western countries out because they believed they were causing a decrease in muslims and increase of other religions.Another conflict within the region are the Sectarian violences between shia and Sunni muslims.They both believe in the same basis of religion , but their differences cause many deaths and injuries. Religion has many consequences of conflict.
Many people have very strong beliefs ,and they completely forget one thing every human deserves no matter of gender ,race, or belief.In the artical”Malala The Powerful”Malala got shot in the head for going to school in Pakistan because she was a girl.This breaking “the ability to persude happiness”.This isn’t the only instance that a girl got her freedoms taken away, by religion; for being a girl. In the article ,”Marriage or Else” Afgan girls are chosen by parents to give them away at young ages of eleven.Young girls are mentally sexually and physically abused by their forced upon husband. Girls like Khadija and Bosgol try to run away and get 175 miles away before they are taken from their escape route back to their abusive fiance to get married forcefully.Human rights should be obeyed because you are born with these and religion is given to the child depending on their lives.
Religion tells a person how to live, causing them to act differently from how they would without it. In the Middle East There are three main religions, all have similarities and differences on gods, beliefs, and followers names. These religions have caused many conflicts.Islam have caused many woman to be mistreated by the phrase ,”Woman either belong at home or the grave.” Religion has many different point of views , either it being the standard view of vocabulary to beliefs.
