In Macbeth, the relationship between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth shifts throughout the play in many ways. It increases the way we understand the characters throughout the play of Macbeth. It demonstrates the differences in opinions between a marriage and allows them to express themselves with verbal threats and the power they held amongst one another. Their relationship starts with love and affection based on how Macbeth starts of by calling her “my dearest love” (1.5.57) they also both had this strong connection with each other and shared the same type of ambition but one of the two always held the power in the relationship that they had. She manages to make Macbeth kill King Duncan with the threats and the way she uses masculine and feminist examples. The different emotions of power between Lady Macbeth and Macbeth have both been interpreted by many perspectives which might be because of the power between the two. As in how Lady Macbeth made Macbeth feel less of a man which brings in the masculine and feminine part of the two because of how he did not do what he told Lady Macbeth he would do and this made Lady Macbeth upset:

the way that this showed a threat was because of how Lady Macbeth had a way to convince Macbeth by using the example above. Hallucinations also happened throughout the play with Macbeth and Lady Macbeth which would make them change and make them scared or feel guilty. This also creates the way they both switched places as in who had the power and who had felt the most guilty.
As soon as the murder had happened, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth had switched places and Macbeth becomes more superior which helps him make his own decisions while Lady MAcbeth felt ashamed and was having trouble with her sleep now. Although before this, Macbeth was afraid, was having imaginings and Lady Macbeth would lie to him and say nothing was happening. The threat of no sleep “you lack the season of all natures, sleep.”(3.4.141) towards Macbeth did not help him but made him feel more guilty and
