In a world that is populated with many people with different beliefs and cultural differences, one needs cultural awareness to be successful in their jobs and daily lives. It is important for the human race to realize that people with different ethnicity will always surround them especially in the United States. The human race needs to search themselves so, they realize their action towards people that do not look or be of the same nationality. When people are asked what a word means they tend to recite the dictionary definition instead of reflecting on what the word means to them and their views. In the world today, every person has a different concept and definition when it comes to race, culture, ethnicity, and many other words. By the dictionary race is one of the groups that people can be divided into based on certain physical qualities. My definition of the word race is to corporate all humans in one group. My family is very close and nothing happens without everyone knowing about it. Most of my family members are hard working and value education. I learned that an education is important in today 's world and I need to out all of my energy into my education. That is why I work to help my mother pay for my tuition because I picked this college and it is also my responsibility to help. I also pay for all of my necessities.
