Appraisal After evaluating the entire portion the appraisal portion of the cross-fit assignment I found this portion was quite simple. They were many areas in assessment portion that I learned to further assist me academically or professionally. What I learned about the assessment portion of the assignment that it requires a sense of patience, detail, and professionalism. These attributes are important during two processes during premeeting part as well as the assessment portion. I found that my client to be an extremely shy person that is was hard maintain a conversation about the assignment such as the requirement for each pre-screening form.The conversation only lasted approximately 2 minutes my client look like he avoided eye contact. I found that as time went on during the second meeting, the assessment, and even the counseling portion I notice that my clients were more comfortable with me. I learned from this process that everyone is different and a physical trainer or anyone has to adjust to being client feel more comfortable. Communication with my client was conducted by technology devices such as text messaging, email, and through personal meeting with my client one on one.Based upon meeting I would modify my verbal/nonverbal feedback by using small talk which open up my client to feel more comfortable, and also I would get straight to the point of the topic being discussed. I found that my client behavior was confusing/ unsure what they really wanted to do based on physical activity. As the interview process began to proceed I started to notice that my client my client began to become more realistic. For example, my was unsure what he really wanted to become physically active, so instead of over complicate a specific goal I ask what is a simple goal that he wanted which was becoming more physically active. Motivators was also a difficult process of gathering information because once again my client was unsure on what really motivated him to become physically active. For example, my client my client could not think of anything that really motivated him so I really wanted him to concentrate on eccentric factors. My client began to give information on why he wanted to become physically active such as media, news which bombards people with information on why exercise is important reduces the number of diseases. The process that I believe went well throughout the interview process the factors which are preventing my client from reaching his goals which were the long list of barriers such time, school, and work. I felt this went well because of my client already right away the issues he is facing is that he needs help for a goal to become achievable. The process that believes that did
