When my mom came home, she asked me where Cellena went… I look at my mom and shrugged my shoulders, “I don’t know, I think she was talking to her friend about a party or something.” My mom was mad! She grabbed the phone and tried to call my sister! “It’s out of service?” my mom said under her breath. with Cellena going over her minutes, and had her phone shut off just last week! Nobody heard from her the rest of the night…
The next day while my mom was sitting on the big leather chair when she got the call got a call. Without saying a word, she ran out the house, got in the car, and sped off! when my mom got home i was kinda happy sence i didn’t know where she went from the time i got home to the next day when i got home. i sat down on the recliner and asked her where she was she said “i’ve been at the hospital with your sister”. i asked “what happend”. she replied that your sister was druged and violated”. when my sister came home from the hospital a week from when it hapend i was happy i tried to give her a hug but she walked up stairs. it’s been a week cense i’ve seen my sister and she just shoves me out of the way when she walks away i just try to forget about it. it’s wednesday now the first week my sister gets back she’s still getting the flow of things it’s been a week or two cense the incedent happend and my sister has got more in to the hang of things she is not up stairs all the time and she’s going to work now. after a couple of days she’s back and doing everything that she used to do except drink, and a lot of detective’s have been calling me because my sisters phone is still off.
One day I was invited to Tom and Daisy’s lunch. It was a good news for me obviously, I was desperate to see Daisy. I was so desperate, I wanted her to live with me now and I have decided to tell Tom that who Daisy love is not him but it is me. That day, I told everything to Tom and I just needed Daisy to conform what I was saying was true.
“Lauren! Let’s go!” My mom yelled from the bottom of the stairs, interrupting my thoughts.
I felt like a coward for leaving Ernie's, to tell you the truth. I walked an entire 41 blocks from the nightclub back to the hotel. Along the way, I thought about my gloves and how they were stolen at Pencey. I imagined up an elaborate confrontation with the unknown thief, but I realized I am a coward and am quite the pacifist and I can't even harm a fly. I don't like violence or confrontation, so this would probably never happen in this world.
“Fuck my life!” I scream off the rooftop and into the city. No one seems to hear though. They all just keep going about their business. That’s the thing about New York City—it stops for no one. That’s what I liked about it. The city didn’t care if you ran a gang, or if you consumed a thousand kinds of drugs each day—life went on.
Chaz’s parties are usually pretty enjoyable, but this one is a disappointment. I mean, Chaz can make anything cool, even chess and accordion music, but I’m not really digging it. I thought I could impress a girl named Brianna at this party, but it’s hard to make an all black outfit look stylish. I’ve had a crush on her for years and thought that since she is single now, I could try and make a move. Let’s just say it’s not going well. To make things even better, I noticed a guy that’s been eyeing her for the past hour. I’ve never seen this kid in my life, but I already hate him. I have to find out who he is.
“No, you may not come, no I will not give you details, and yes! Mason can go with you two to supervise you.” My mom finished with fake enthusiasm.
parents, my brother, and I were about to leave for the day, my aunt spoke up for the first time in
She then told me, “your two-year contract with us used up not too long ago, so you’re due for a new phone.”
“What’s wrong?,” my mom asked, after my sister had gone to the ocean with my dad. She looked confused.
I rolled my eyes. “Right, I’m the crazy but rich great-aunt that’s ignored for the whole year until it’s Christmastime and everyone’s dying to see what I got them.”
I will never talk to my sister again! It all started at 6:30am my dad woke me up and told me to get ready for school so I stumbled out of my comfy bed in my dark blue room and turned the corner then my dad told me to wake up my sister because he had to go, he worked as a bus driver so he has to leave at 6:30 every morning, so I walked out of my room through the hallway and straight to my sisters room, I ran up the steps as loud as I could to try to wake her then I got deeper and deeper into my sisters grumpy teenage room so I turned the corner turned on the lights and screamed WAKE UP SYDNEY!!!
It was Tuesday February 2, 2016. I went to school as usual and stayed after school for math tutoring, because I needed help with my homework on Math Lab. Instead of going home like I always do I decided to go to the Beauty Supply store, because the next day I went to work, and I could not wear my regular nose piercing. I had to have a clear one in. I went to the Angie’s Beauty Supply store on South Cobb Drive. I got the clear nose piercing and headed home. I got home around five o’clock which was later than usual. I was tired. Before I get out the car my sister Zahria ran to my car and said, “Can you take me to the McEachern Basketball game?” I got so angry because I hate when she asks me to take her somewhere. I said, “No”. She got mad and stormed back in the house. Meanwhile I was still in the car and my best friend called me. I had not spoken to my best friend Jamir in forever because she was busy with school and I was busy
“Have you met your biological parents yet?” He asked, trying also not to make it sound offensive. I shook my head.
It was August 17, 2016 and it is close to my birthday, me and my mom were going to have breakfast with my Aunt Colette. Then we were going to go to the mall and buy some things. We were going to drop my sisters off at school and then head to breakfast. We left the house and got into the car, we left our apartments. I was on my phone and so was my older sister, me and her were in the back seats I was behind the passenger seat and my older sister was behind the driver's seat. My little sister was up front, and my mom driving the car.
