Introduction

There are different types of animal abuse. There is Dog fighting there are about 16,000 dogs dying from dog fighting not just fighting but from being bate dogs. Dogs fighting is heinous form of animal cruelty. It is a finial in all 50 states. The fights can last minutes to hours alot of the dogs suffer from broken bones, blood loss, or puncture wounds. Some people think dog fighting is a sport. Most dog that are rescued from dog fights have to be put down because they are born to kill. Another stage of animal abuse is Puppy Mills. Puppy Mills usually house dogs in overcrowded and unsanitary conditions without adequate veterinary care, food, water or socialization. Most pets stores that have dogs are dogs from puppy mills. That's how they stay in business by selling them to pet stores. So don’t be fooled by that perfect puppy.

Female dogs are bred at every opportunity with little-to-no recovery time between litters. Most dogs that are sold in pet shops are from puppy mills. Puppy mills sell their puppies to pet shops to make money thats how they stay in businesses. Because puppy mills focus on on profit, dogs are often bred with little regard for genetic quality. Puppies are usually taken away from their mother two early so many dogs suffer from fear, anxiety, and other behavioral problems or PTSD. There is really no defination of puppy mill so don’t be fooled by the pet store owners how show you papers or license to prove that there dog are from human sources. Other puppy mills sell their puppies at auctions. The puppies that are left or no one wants they shot them or burn them in piles. According to the Humane Society of the United States, there are an estimated 10,000 licensed and unlicensed puppy mills in the United States, in total selling more than 2,000,000 puppies
