For this weekly comment I will present the feel of belonging that Puerto Ricans have towards their country. I selected Puerto Rico because even though that is my country, I would like to show how a country that is not independence can feel the sense of belonging same as an independent country. The best way to observe the sense of belonging in Puerto Ricans is in sport, in their food, in their culture, in their people, in everything that they request as something of them. In the sports it can be observed in every important competition that an athlete of this country has. For every competition like for example, the 2016 Olympics or the 2017 World Baseball Classic, the country practically stop their duties and focus in supporting their athletes. In the 2016 Olympics all Puerto Ricans located in different parts of the world just stopped what they were doing and just focus in the match that made history for Puerto Ricans, the match that gave the first Olympic gold medal for this country. Also, in the 2017 World Baseball Classic the complete island forgot about the problem that they were having and each night that the “Team Rubio” had a game, in each corner of the island, there were a bunch of Puerto Ricans reunited, most with their hair dyed as a …show more content…

Also, you would want to refresh yourself in this tropical island, therefore you could have a delicious “Piña Colada”. With their culture, let say that Puerto Ricans celebrate everything, since “Las Calles de San Sebastian”, the day Puerto Rico was discovered, and also, celebrate the best Christmas ever.
