Do you believe in aliens? When most people think of the term aliens they usually think of green, slimy and dangerous. However, I think differently. I think if I was to meet an alien at a point in my life they would look similar to the human race and that they would be very civilized. If I was asked by an alien if I was proud or ashamed of the human race, I would say I am proud. Sure there are disappointing and shameful qualities of the human race such as: jealousy, pride, hatred and ignorance to name a few, however I like to look at the bright side of situations. There are many reasons why we should be proud of the human race, for we have accomplished and discovered many great things. Humans have discovered and mastered technology in entertainment, education and in everyday life.
Technology has had such an incredible impact on entertainment today. I am proud of all of the technical accomplishments that the human race has come up with. It is amazing how far technology has come; from the first television, to today where there are 3D and interactive TVs. Technology in movies in something that I think has evolved greatly. Movies are definitely a typical pastime in today’s society. You can watch a good movie anywhere, anyway. You can watch movies in the car, anytime on your smart phone and more. There are some very, very intelligent human beings that have put a lot of time and effort into creating numerous devices. Smart phones have taken over our society; almost everyone now in days has a smart phone that just basically makes life a whole lot easier. You can look up the weather in any part of the world, you can send pictures to family and friends across the world and they will receive them instantly and a whole lot more! And finally...

...l never have to worry about getting lost. The mind of a human is just amazing; without the human race we wouldn’t have the technology we have today.
So in conclusion, if I were asked by an alien if I was proud or ashamed of the human race, I would say I am proud. There are many things to be proud of; we have discovered many things. However I am mostly proud of the human race for discovering and mastering technology. It has made life simpler and more enjoyable. The technology we have now is something I would be proud to show off and to be proud to share with others who aren’t so lucky. We use technology in our everyday lives, every hour of every day. Technology has had an incredible impact on entertainment, education and in everyday life. So again, I am actually very pleased to be a part of the human race and I am proud of all of the accomplishments of humans.
Technology, what is it? It’s usually something new, and better than the old idea. Technology started with cars, stoves, TV, radios, etc. Cars takes somebody from one place to another, faster than walking, running, or biking and one could go places without getting tired. Stoves allowed one to conveniently be able to turn on and off heat to a cooking utensil with less clean up. The biggest contributor to making our lives easier would be computers, which has come a long way since its introduction to the world. Also, computers have the ability to be improved more, and more in time. In general, technology started off by comforting our lives. Now, the rapid growth of technology has replaced the need for one’s own intellect.
Over the years, the world has evolved and many debatable topics have arisen. In my opinion, one has become even more profound as the years have gone on. If this phenomenon became a reality, every living thing in the world would be greatly affected. It would even alter the world as we know it. The question, “Are aliens real?”, has been around for hundreds of years and has puzzled many professors and scientists. No one knows for sure, but I have faith that these extraterrestrial beings are not just a myth. Over the years, too much unexplainable, ancient and scientific evidence has been uncovered for nothing else to be out there. There is no doubt in my mind that aliens are real.
Intelligent life outside of Earth is one of the most debated topics in The United States of America. There are plenty of shows on television about it and supposedly there has been thousands of sightings all throughout America. Our government is thought of to have encountered and held extraterrestrials. Area 51 is where everyone theorizes that we hold and run tests on aliens, even though there is little evidence. There are also ancient stories told about “gods” coming down and doing inhuman things. In cave paintings you can find UFOs in the pictures, even back then they somehow knew of these flying objects. Most people do not want to recognize that our universe is so vast it would be more likely that there is intelligent life out there than there is not. It is possible that the general population is afraid to acknowledge Aliens’ existence because they cannot imagine a species being more advanced and smarter than us. Another reason people fail to recognize them is because the media has made these “creatures” very far fetched with
Now if there are aliens in space and we are not alone chances are they aren’t how we think of them. They probably won’t be all green and evil. They probably won’t even be able to walk, but again that is what SETI and the other programs in space are trying to find out.
In his recent book, Shakespeare: The Invention of the Human (1998), Harold Bloom argues that Shakespeare’s characters provide the full measure of his continuing legacy. Shakespeare, Bloom maintains, created self-conscious characters who breathe life. Shakespeare’s characters are so alive, possess such "interiority," that they catch themselves looking at themselves. This quality is the essence of becoming human—to know we know, to be aware we are aware, to sense our own presence on the stage of life.
From pixel to advanced graphics, technology today gives us a upper hand in gaming from advanced graphics to virtual reality.Technology has benifited society today by giving us a wider range of entertainment choices and easier access to them.
There are many stars in our universe, and many of them have multiple planets. These planets are also known as exoplanets/extra-planets. They may contain life. Many people are searching for life. Others are searching for intelligent life with radio technology. They send and receive signals. Many are from Earth, but one may be a real alien signal. If it is then we should investigate immediately. There has only been one signal that may have been an extraterrestrial signal . Also there is life on Mars. There are bacteria that came from an asteroid. Where did it come from? No one knows. But that does not matter, because those germs are not intelligent life or life that would affect us largely. And if there really is extraterrestrial life do not expect them to look like humans (this may be due to low gravity) their bodies are large, but very delicate or vise-versa. They may have a tail to! It all depends on the conditions in which the E.T beings live in. But if we do find intelligent E.T. life I hope it would help forget differences between humans and unite us.
The world has all different types of technology right now. Technology has influenced the world in some many different ways. There are multiple reasons how and why technology has influenced people in a bad way. Technology changed society from how it used to be to how it is now and will more in likely change again in five years. Technology is creating a society where people are dependent on technology and are taking over people and changing them completely.
Anjelica Weigel Midterm Essay King Kong is one of the premiere examples of popular orientalism for a number of reasons. The films premise, following Carl Denham as he sets out to make a film about the mysterious beast on Skull Island, and the events that unfold subsequently, typifies racial and political divides of the time. Furthermore, it also encapsulates many of the aspects of colonialism in both past and present. In this paper, the definition of popular Orientalism and the film’s narrative structure will be defined, followed by an analysis into how the characters and settings can be identified as orientalist thinking, and finally how the violence and power struggles in the film are a parallel to colonial power examples. Popular Orientalism
Do aliens exist? For eons, mankind has pondered over this peculiar question and a revealing truth has yet to be answered. However, one thing is known for sure, the discovery of intelligent alien life outside of Earth would provide support to prove and/or disprove fundamental beliefs that have been held for centuries. In any case, the discovery would serve as a cornerstone for humanity to make the quantum leap in understanding the purpose of our existence. Based on numerous examples, it is impossible to deny the existence of extraterrestrial life outside of Earth. Reportings of sightings, ancient civilizations beliefs, and scientific proof from scientists and astronomers are all key factors that contribute to this statement.
The Oxford English online dictionary defines technology: as the product of such application; technological knowledge or know-how; a technological process, method, or technique. Also: machinery, equipment, etc., developed from the practical application of scientific and technical knowledge. In the space of a few decades technology as experienced incredible growth and has become a crucial part of our everyday life. Most of us use technology in every aspect of our lives whether we are at work, school, or relaxing at home in our free time. Now most of us could not imagine returning to a time in which technology was not so readily available. Most of us expect to have access to information at a moment’s notice. There are many advantages and disadvantages to our obsession with technology.
Technology, like everything, has its ups and downs, you know, the pros and the cons.Technology makes everything so much easier for everyone. We can travel long distances, talk to our loved ones, and even entertain us. Technology has also made things safer for us.There have been so many technological advances through recent history that were created to keep people safe and away from harm, like fire alarms and air bags in motor vehicles. Technology has also made things much faster for us, such as travel. Cars, Planes, and Boats help many people get to different places around the globe in shorter amounts of time, and the internet has also made
In the world we live in today every thing involves some sort of technology. We are surrounded by it twenty four seven and use it personally on a daily basis. At this very moment I am using technology to write this essay. Technology has made man kind life easier and has helped us a ton but it does have its disadvantages. We are too dependent on it. People are still able to live long healthy lives with out so much technology. All these advances are helping us at the moment but in the long run they are slowly killing us.
Since the beginning of time, humans have thought and made many inventions. Repeatedly the newer one is better than the older. Our minds have created many remarkable things, however the best invention we ever created is the computer. computers are constantly growing and becoming better every day. Every day computers are capable of doing new things. Even though computers have helped us a lot in our daily lives, many jobs have been lost because of it, now the computer can do all of the things a man can do in seconds! Everything in the world relies on computers and if a universal threat happens in which all computers just malfunction then we are doomed. Computers need to be programmed to be able to work or else it would just be a useless chunk of metal. And we humans need tools to be able to live; we program the computer and it could do a lot of necessary functions that have to be done. It is like a mutual effect between us and he computer (s01821169 1).
Over the last few decades, technology has greatly increased its abilities. It started from the simple radio to now having cell phones which can surf the web. Technology has greatly influenced our society in many ways. Nowadays it has made family relationships have a different connection and has simplified people’s lives. A couple decades ago, a person would never had imagined to Skype a family member across the world. It would be like trying to imagine teleportation. It was unthinkable, but with moderation, technology has evolved for the better. With the new technology in our world, people are able to talk to their distant family members. People are also able to save time and watch a movie with their extra time. There are pros and cons to having technology nowadays. Yes, people are able to communicate faster and save money, but technology is also disconnecting them from the people around them. Technology has changed humanity for the better, but humans must know to use technology in moderation.
