ON
THE AIR FORCE DISBANDING INTO A SEPARATE AIR FORCE AND SPACE FORCE
1. This Position Paper is on the idea that the Air Force should disband into a separate Air Force and Space Force. This paper will go over three things; the pros and cons of doing this, and it will back up the notion that it is a good idea after all to disband into separate entities.
2. Space is a big place, it is constantly expanding, probes sent into space haven’t even reached the edge of the solar system, and people have only been as far as the moon. When looking at space from a distance the Earth is nothing when compared to the whole of space. The Air Force Space Command is made up of over 38,000 people at over 130 locations across the globe, this includes cyberspace as well.1 Space has a several traits that
At the moment there is a ton of traffic in space and it is only building as more nations join the space faring ranks.14 This is a concern for every nation in space, as space forces are a foundational part to all military operations.15 Space Command is already a Major Command and it includes cyberspace which shows that it is important.16 With new technologies being developed and space travel becoming popular before the first public trip, it is only a matter of time till something happens and tensions rise.17 It is best to not wait for this to happen to make a change, and create the Space Force sooner rather than later.18 It is time just like when the Air Force was created from the Army Air Core as air power was the future, now space power is the future and it is time for the Space Force.19
5. In conclusion, this paper talked about the pros and cons of disbanding the Air Force into a separate Air and Space Force. Lastly, it showed why is was best for them to become separated.

It is no accident that General Spaatz is a proponent of a separate Air Force. Spaatz’s perseverance, leadership attributes and military knowledge would lead him to be a proponent of a separate Air Force were all being shaped, tweaked and instilled upon him during his early plebe years at the United States Military Academy (USMA) beginning in 1900. Looking back on Spaatz’s career at the USMA, one would not predict Spaatz to become the first Chief of Staff of the newly independent United States Air Force. However, these four years spent at the USMA were very influential, particularly in Spaatz’s development as a leader and his ability to persevere. While at the USMA Spaatz was very much a rebel and was constantly breaking the rules. Nevertheless, Spaatz knew he was smart, he demonstrated this by being ranked in the top half of his class. Although, as Spaatz entered his senior year, he felt he had nothing else to prove and began to slack off. Eventually Spaatz ended up being ranked near the bottom of his class. There is an ongoing debate on the issue of weaponizing space in order to protect our national space assets and achieve national strategic objectives. This is an issue because of the increase of more space faring nations trying to exploit the benefits of space and other nations also trying to develop capabilities to disrupt other from using it. This background paper will outline the current international laws and policies, our national policies in regard to space, current issues that catalyzed this debate, the benefits and disadvantage of weaponizing space.
Should the government decrease military spending or should it increase military spending? This is a question that many Americans wrestle with, and politically speaking, is a point of great contention since to many, military might evokes a sense of security. However, when considering this question from a foreign policy standpoint, does current military spending really match the current level of threats faced by the United States, or are too many dollars being allocated for an unnecessary level of military strength? There are certainly cons in making the decision to drastically lower military spending, but they are minimal when compared to the positive ramifications such a decision would have. It will conceptualize the technological benefits and implications that a separate Space Force could have. It will then discuss some of the perceived negative effects the separation of forces could have and review why this separation may not be necessary. It will culminate by discussing some of what the Air Force went through before separating from the Army, drawing comparisons to the debates concerning a separate Space Force.

After north Korea, South Korea, finally put a satellite into orbit. In the past 10 years, China is spent billions of dollars on space exploration. What are these situation and development mean to these senior space program countries? How should the United States, Europe and Russia respond? Competition with these new project or keep the leading of the position in space, or to cooperate? There is no future to any country who is trying to suppress on the space exploration. Space inspires every citizen of a country. And even to the whole world. After all, there are two point of view: other national who development space is a dangerous ability; Or a countries who explore space, like all the plane fly in the sky, transport citizens and goods. We are now all using the safety, and the weather forecast of communication space technique. Other spacecraft flight from these countries around world may force us to share adventures and economic advantages in the field of space exploration. Within the U.S. government, many areas overlap, creating a need for interagency cooperation. Thus, the U.S. government must provide specific guidance to manage the areas of overlapping responsibility within U.S. government control.
Space Exploration promises to improve the quality of life on Earth. The enhancements include improved economic prosperity, health, environmental quality, safety, and security. Space exploration leads to advances in science and technology which then yields many benefits. Scientific knowledge acquired from space expands humankind's understanding of nature.
There are currently several competing visions of space culture. These are the romantic ideal, of space being the final frontier, the minutia of people who act, emotionless like machines and the post-apocalyptic view of a desolated wasteland. This idea of space-power has always been present in the United States since the 1960s. In American culture space exploration and discovery has always been fascinating to the American society. . In movies like Space Cowboys and Armageddon, show the shooting up of rockets into space as a glorious experience.
Space is called the final frontier. The ability to explore space not been around long. Since the 1960s, men have slowly been increasing their presence in space. Now in the early twenty first century, space exploration is at a stand still with the government agencies having a lack of funding and private companies only recently starting up. In the upcoming years, modern space programs will be ready to further push mankind; this is something that cannot be done by one government agency or private group.

Some may think exploring outer space is simply a human’s curiosity. This is true but on the contrary, people explore to learn about things they may have never known and touch on the essence of the creation of the universe. Another reason for exploring this uncharted area is the technological advancements people have made and immense amount of innovation they have achieved in this field (Wood). Lastly, scientists study the other planets just in case one day humans need to relocate after overwhelming damage has been done to Earth. Suffice to say, it is a vital part of today’s day and age to research outer space (Rothery).
