Bill Clinton was born William Jefferson Blythe III on August 19, 1946, in the small town of Hope, Arkansas. He was named after his father, William Jefferson Blythe II, who had been killed in a car accident just three months before his son's birth. Needing a way to support herself and her new child, Bill Clinton's mother, Virginia Cassidy Blythe, moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, to study nursing. Bill Clinton stayed with his mother's parents in Hope. There his grandparents, Eldrigde and Edith Cassidy, taught him strong values and beliefs such as "equality among all and discrimination to none". This was a lesson Bill never forgot. His mother returned from New Orleans with a nursing degree in 1950, when her son was four year old. Later that same year, she married an automobile salesman named Roger Clinton. When Bill was seven years old, the family moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas for it offered a better employment opportunities. Roger received a higher paying job as a service manager for his brother's car dealer-ship and Virginia discovered a job as a nurse anesthetist. In 1956, Bill Clinton's half-brother, Roger Clinton Jr., was born. When his brother was old enough to enter school, young Bill had his last name legally altered from Blythe to Clinton.
Clinton's life continued and during his High school years he was awestruck by two successful leaders, John F. Kennedy and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He was inspired by them so much that thrived on fulfilling their dreams. He raised money and organized charity events, but most of all he learned how to work with people and the concept of being a good citizen. In his spare time, he endulged himself in literature and played a saxophone. He loved music, and each summer he would attend a band camp in the Ozark Mountains. His hard work paid off when he became top saxophone player at his school and won first chair in state band.
Bill Clinton recognized that although college would be expensive, it would give him the education he needed to accomplish his goals. His hard work in school, combined with his music ability, earned him many academic and music scholarships. With the aid of those scholarships and loans from the government, he was able to attend Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He chose George town because it had an excellent foreign service program and it was located in the nations capital.
Even though people think it’s not “normal” for a female to be president anything is possible. Clinton went to both Wellesley and Yale colleges. When she Yale, she studied to be a lawyer, which she would later become. She eventually found her way to marry. Clinton married William “Bill” Clinton in 1975, and had a child Chelsea. The former President Bill would later become president and that led her to becoming the first lady. As you can see she had to balance a lot in her life so far.

Martin Luther King Jr. was the living definition of a prototypical nonconformist, which is a person who does not change their initial thoughts or actions based off of what others do. King is well known for his nonviolent protests, and even the participants of the event have to ask themselves during a period of self-purification, “‘Are you able to accept blows without retaliating? Martin Luther King, Sr., both pastors of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. “Young M.L.” as he was called, grew up in moderately comfortable circumstances in a city that was not as oppressive of its black residents as some areas of the South, but upheld stubbornly all aspects of racial segregation (American Reformers). He was a good student, skipping the ninth grade, and at fifteen upon completion of his junior year at Booker T. Washington High School, he entered Atlanta’s Morehouse College.
Racism was huge during the life of Martin Luther King. Racism is the intolerance of another race. Whites in this case were dominant over the blacks. Martin Luther was a black man. King did not see why they had to live this way or why color should matter. He thought of racism as a sin. King did everything in his will to stop racism. He was a civil rights leader and a great one at that too. King led the civil rights movement to fight for equality against the different races. He spoke many speeches and rebelled in several ways. King thought the answer to stop racism would be from the power of God. He believed that because everyone, including blacks and white, believed in God that in his name they should all be equal. King once wrote a quote that states, "Evil can be cast out, not by man alone nor by a dictatorial God who invades in our lives, but when we open the door and invite God throug...

He was later arrested and released after the United States District Courts ruled that segregation on all Montgomery public buses was illegal. This paved the way for King to lead many more protests in his life and becoming a major leader in the desegregation movement.

The Obama campaign developed a strategy for winning the Democratic nomination that relied on assembling the blacks and white liberals that had enabled him to succeed in Illinois, with an additional focus on young voters. However, Senator and former First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton opened a strong lead in the polls, even among African American voters and leaders who admired her and her husband, former President Bill Clinton. Many did not think Obama had much of a chance to win. Although, many doubted Barack wouldn’t win against Hillary Clinton he in fact beat her and she was no longer in the run for president. a secure and loving home.Martin sr. was more the disciplinarian. While their mothers gentleness easily balanced out their fathers more strict hand. Although they definitely tried Martins parents couldn't keep him completely away from racism. Martin Luther King jr. fought against racial prejudice, not just because his race suffered but also because he considered racism and segregation to be an affront to god's will. Martin King Sr. strongly discouraged any sense of class superiority in his children which left a lasting impression on Martin Jr. At the age of 5 he went to his first public school. He was baptized in May, 1936. At the age of 12 he was devastated when his grandmother passed away, he tried to commit suicide. He jumped from a second story window at his families home. He attended Booker T. Washington High School and was said to be a valuable student. He skipped 9th and 11th grade and entered Morehouse college in Atlanta at the age of 15! Although his family was deeply involved in the church and worship, young Martin questioned his religion in general and felt uncomfortable with overly emotional displaying of religious worship. Martin chose to rebel against his father's beliefs and drink while playing pool in college,as it turns out it was not the smartest idea, because he got together with a girl and soon after he had to break up with her.
