WRITTEN REPORT OUTLINE 12 and 12 is the location of my first practicum. The physical address is 1860 E. 15th Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74104. Due to WellStar being a multi facility health system, its organizational design is constantly being reviewed for simpler and more efficient processes. WellStar’s two smallest hospitals, WellStar Paulding and WellStar Douglas, previously under went reconstruction with regards to their hierarchical structure in Patient Access Services (PAS). WellStar Paulding, the smallest facility of the five hospitals, renovated their managerial chain of command in PAS. WellStar Paulding’s patient volume is less than half in comparison to the 4 additional hospitals. As a result, their staff is smaller and only requires minimal supervision. Narrative research is a qualitative methodological approach in research (Bedford & Landry, 2010. Since the early 1980s, narrative inquiry has been emerging in regards to individual life stories. Storytelling is closely related to psychoanalytic tradition. Narrative research, consist of a multiple of approaches, that are apart of social constructionism, which is guided by the philosophical assumptions of an interpretive constructivist paradigm (Patsiopoulos & Buchanan, 2011). 2. I would like to express my strong interest for a practicum placement in the upcoming summer semester. For the summer semester, my practicum schedule would consist of 4 days/week or 5 days/week. My estimated start date would be on May 9th and July 27th would be my estimated end date.

Counselor met with Pt. his monthly individual session. Counselor started the session greeting him and asking him about his recovery progress. Pt. is progressing well in his tx plan and marinating his sobriety since entering the program. Pt. explained that he has never received an administrative taper for financial noncompliance since his admission. Counselor and Pt. discussed the requirements to move to Phase 6 of tx program. Counselor explained that he is currently in phase 4 and he can’t skip phase 5. Pt. informed this writer that it will beneficial for him to increase his take home privileges because he can accept a job with demanding hours. At the beginning of the semester it had been over six years since I had been in an English class, So naturally filled with panic and discomfort with the subject I began the class with low personal expectations. However putting forth my best effort I attempted to take everything presented to me in stride. Things that were problems to begin with were Grammar, Sounding arrogant, according to a pretest, and staying on the subject during a paper. Things that sparked my interest are peer reviews and using the meal plan. With those things being said I’d like to go into further detail about how I’ve felt about my time spent and performance.
