1. Poverty tax is a tax which makes prices for goods and services higher in low income communities. In the video, it shows how cars, groceries and check cashing cost more in poorer areas. The circumstances that perpetuate it is the disadvantages poorer communities have than the wealthier communities. The wealthy communities have more resources and plenty of environmental support. 2. Zip codes and street addresses are good predictors of population health since it tells us the social, economics, and physical environments in which we live in. For example, there are higher rates for asthma, obesity, and heart disease in low income communities than higher income communities. It is extremely likely to find fast food restaurants and toxic industries
