What is poverty?
Not all people are wealthy. The word poverty has many meanings. There are an abundance of people around the world without jobs and money, which leaves them poor and living in the shadows of the streets. Poverty is when people are living in hunger, living without a home, not being able to live up to the basic human needs. Citizens living in poverty get sick and there won’t be a doctor they can go to because they do not have the money to afford anything. In addition, many families don’t have the financial support to pay for their child's education and so, that generation will have a hard time earning money as well.

Why is poverty happening?
Poverty are the roots of many factors that are involved. It includes lacking jobs for workers, terrible health conditions, unable to access to schools and training facilities, or even having a corrupt government. Poverty affects millions of people worldwide, including families and individuals, it exists in wealthy and poor countries, and affects citizens directly or indirectly. Wars, droughts etc, causes a great impression on the human population and can bring a negative impact to the person's income and their ability to provide for their families. Third world countries usually describe countries that do not exceed basic human needs as “Developing” countries and the countries that exceeded human rights as “Developed”. Poverty is growing and someday, we might be the ones to experience poverty. There are children who grow up in poorer areas of the United Kingdom and they have a shorter life expectancy. Extreme poverty is one of the main problems that cause international labour, migration etc. Poverty is quickly spreading from small streets to cities, there are more than half of us that don’t have a place to call
