One of those positives is even through discrimination a person becomes very determined to prove people wrong. There are always people who are going to see others as less and regret when they see that person doing what they thought they would never become. A person being motivated to do the right thing will never get stopped by anyone no matter how hard the road …show more content…
There will always be people who think their race is superior to all the others and would not have a problem saying it. There will always be people who will try their best to change the worlds view of discrimination as much as they can. Although it might not have the result they want they can always keep trying to prove to people that what is said is not always true about everyone. Not every little stereotype is true for each person, everyone lives their life a different way and it is up to that person how they decide to be. Maybe one day there will be a world where there is no
We probably know discrimination occurs in any situation, and it depends on individual reasons, or societal. Today, we know discrimination of race is unlawful, but it is still existent in some people, and it gets skillfully concealed under some form. For example, in the essay “Black Man Ponders His Power to Alter Public” by Brent Staples, the author is a black man, he explains some encounters that he has been a victim of the discrimination of skin color from people around him. Discrimination can appear in any situation and everywhere. I love America, because this country included many different races; it makes me think of the beautiful colorful flowers on the prairies. I thought discrimination was over; however, due to different racial have built the discrimination still inside of some people. Therefore, I had gained some experience of skin color discrimination from others put on me since when I stepped on this America land. The Discrimination At Large by Jennifer Coleman is an article where the author demonstrates the price for being obese. Overweight people are being criticized all the time by many people. Moreover, they are now a mockery since people just make fun of them for their amusement. The movie Shallow Hal also shows how if we change our general idea of outer beauty of a person, we could benefit from it. Obesity has been a serious dilemma for the people in America. The society seems to not change their perception about obese people. In addition, people who are usually afraid to say any kind of

Unfortunately, there is not one person who is immune to discrimination either, which is why we, as human beings, must make a greater attempt to recognize the differences every individual has to offer, and embrace whatever it is to it’s full potential. Many feel the pressures that womanhood presents, for instance.
