Plan for a A Virtual Community for Teenagers on the Web
The Internet, though only considered to be approximately a decade old, has blossomed into an incredible method of communication. However, many of the resources contained on the Internet are hard to find, especially for less-experienced users. A virtual community project would ideally consist of all resources needed for high school juniors and seniors to access at any time and at any location. A perfect online community for teens would consist of many useful resources while allowing for expandability as technology advances.
The most important factor of a virtual community would be the obligatory desire to visit and use the site. This could be accomplished by utilizing various techniques. A simple yet appealing interface would have to be employed to build a successful online village. Contests would also draw students from around the world to such a site. Daily winners to trivia or knowledge contests, all with some educational component involved, could win prizes supplied by the site's advertisers. Another important element, the aspect of customization, would also draw students to the site.

The chat section of the site would be divided into science, English, foreign language, social studies, technology, and mathematics sections, and it would also contain rooms about teen life, health, and relationships for the benefit of all student users. Frequent special guests would often visit the chat rooms, ranging from those specializing in teen life to famous entertainment personalities in order to attract students to the site. Hitler was born in Austria, but was a German soldier. He was thrown in jail by the Nazi government for trying to overthrow it. While he was imprisoned he wrote a book called "Mein Kampf", which tranlates to "my struggle" in English. Soon after he finished the book he was let out of jail early for good behavior. The years between 1933-1945 was a horrifying time period. We learn about the Holocaust to know and learn about how bad the past was and what people had to go through. People study the Holocaust to be educate and undertsand the past. The most important reason why we study the Holocaust is so that nothing as bad as the Holocaust was, happens again. According to Edmund Burke, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
The Holocaust was an terrible event that happened from 1933 to 1945. Approximately eleven million people were killed by the Nazis. A genocidal policy was passed by Adolf Hitler after he became the leader of Germany in 1933. His goal was to get rid of all the Jews in Europe and those who are considered in his "undesirable" list. As countries such as Italy, Japan, and Austria units with Germany and became the Axis Powers, they started invading and taking over other countries around them in Europe. I believe there are reasons that can explain why we still study about the Holocaust today.
We learn about The Holocaust so history does not repeat itself. Nobody wants to be in a group of people or race or religion that society does not want or like. Everybody is the same in some way, but they are also different; and people should repsect that. Just because they are different does not mean they should be blamed or singled out either. We, as the United States, try to prevent something like segregation, The Hololcaust, or wars from happening again because it is the right thing to do and people want to live their normal life. We learn about The Holocaust so we can learn to treat other people with repsect.
We study the Holocaust because it gives us info. It gives us info on the way the world was before there were laws and justice. It was very sad and deadly. People were dying everyday and night from sickness or murder. They did not care about that.
The Holocaust was a time period in history that is very important to learn about. We learn about it for many reasons, but I think the most important reason is to learn not to discriminate against other people. Not only is it very important to learn about the Holocaust, but it's also important to learn about Hitler's rise to power and how he came to make his decision of the discrimination affiliated with the Holocaust. The events and outcome of World War II and Anne Frank are very important topics, too. These topics are all factors that are associated with the overall events of the Holocaust and all back up the reason as to why we study the Holocaust.
Learning about the Holocaust helps us see how we changed over the years because of those events and helps us understand how fortunate we are to be living in this time. As we studied the Holocaust, we learned how people were impacted by the Nazis and Germany's new laws. This event in history helped us to realize that forming wrong ideas about a group can lead to major problems in the end. It also teaches us that power can be abused and people will suffer if the problem isn't recognized durring its early stages. Studying about the Holocaust helps us learn that everyone is different and we must learn to accept each other's differences so that hate towards certian people will not cause the same event to happen again. Learning about the events in history helps us to take measures to prevent the worst things from happening again.
Horrible things happened in Europe during the time period of WWII, and millions of people died. The Holocaust stands as one of the biggest genocides that has ever happened in human history, so we study it to remember it. Remembering the awful things that happened during the Holocaust, and all of the poor Jews and other undesireables who lost their lives will hopefully insure that something this disgusting, at this magnitude, will never happen again.
Our class is centered on learning about the computer and how to use it. In class we learn how computers and technology can be very helpful. We should discuss some of the negative things that can come from using this technology, and I believe that is why this article relates directly to our class. The internet is not as safe as it once was. Before, websites would promise not to release consumers’ information, but today the very same websites are no longer making these promises. I believe this article relates to class because we have all been subjected to release some personal information to a website. Everyone should be aware that when we fill out the questions of our name and age that our information is being released to different companies, and people, all over the world.
The dualistic the good and evil are very important allied with consciousness because only conscious existences can take a choice between what is good and what is evil, whether is in thinking, in our choice in life or actions.
