Leadership
In "Ocean’s Eleven" Steven Soderbergh made an incredible showing as an executive in keeping the crowd intrigued all around the entire motion picture time. Way objective hypothesis of pioneer adequacy might be effectively connected to the motion picture. The way objective hypothesis by Robert House states that the pioneer can influence bunch's execution, fulfillment and inspiration by offering prizes for accomplishing objectives, clearing up ways towards these objectives and evacuating hindrances to execution. In the wake of being discharged from jail, Danny Ocean (Clooney) discovers that Las Vegas kingpin Terry Benedict (Andy Garcia) is seeing his ex Tess (Julia Roberts). Danny sets up an objective to take millions from Terry and his ex back. At that point he imparts the "very lucrative and exceedingly risky" plan with old companion Rusty (Brad Pitt) – to thump off the vault of the Bellagio Hotel, which blankets the MGM Grand and the Mirage too, throughout the night of a huge battle to the tune of about $150 million. As stated by House's hypothesis, what pioneer can do is influenced by situational elements – nature's domain and subordinates identity. The incredible situational element that brought about Danny to think about gambling joint burglary was heavyweight-enclosing title venue in Las Vegas. Danny and Rusty (the pioneer and co-pioneer) cannot pull this off alone so they discover the group (the supporters) they will require for making "Ocean’s Eleven." Each colleague chose has distinctive abilities and capacities, and consequently just staying together, they will have the ability to attain the regular objective. Other colleagues that underpinned Danny in his arrangement were Linus Caldwell, Basher Tarr, Livingston...

Harnessing unique applications that formulate effective team competencies can be greatly beneficial when nourishing team dynamics. These necessary factors create high performance levels due to consistency and team cooperation. Performance appraisal is a great way to determine team dynamics due to summative evaluations that are executed during a practice. To obtain effective team dynamics it is important that each individual motivate one another in a positive manner, provide feedback and have an open mind. In conclusion, each member of the team should not be shy introducing any new ideas during the engineering, keep in mind that there is no wrong answer and diversity and innovation is always permitted. In a nut shell, Ocean’s Eleven depicts true signs of team work, leadership and the proper power and influence a leader should have to achieve his/ her goals in life.

Davis’s perspective of what makes a good team is a team that has people with different abilities who can work well together. The article “La Vida Robot” by Joshua Davis focuses on four teenage boys from a poor district in Phoenix, Arizona, who enter a contest for underwater engineering with their robot “Stinky” and win against teams from M.I.T. (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). Davis describes why he thought that they worked so well together as a team, which was because each of the four members played an important role on the team, because of their
In the film The Deep End of the Ocean, we can apply some concepts discussed in the Interpersonal Communication curse. The film emphasis a communication problem into a family after the Ben’s abduction. Ben was the middle child of Beth and Pat. The older son was Vincent, who had an important role in the drama, and Kerry was the smaller. The abduction took place during Beth’s class reunion. After nine years, Beth found him, he was leaving very close to the real family. Ben and his false father never knew that he was abducted because they were betrayed by the woman who took him at the class reunion. The problem was that Ben wants to stay leaving with the man who take care of him. At the end of the film Ben understood that his place was with the Cappadora’s family
2001: A Space Odyssey is just that: a long wandering voyage of the body and mind. Stanley Kubrick and Arthur C. Clark collaborated brilliantly. In examining both works, the film and the novel, there are certainly differences, yet the theme and overall idea coincide thoroughly. That this was made in the 1960's augments both accomplishments. The visuals, seen in 2004, are still captivating. What they must've seemed like in 1968! I flout those who received this movie poorly in those days. Would I have received it as well without having a preconceived idea of its greatness? I can only hope I would have known what I was watching.

Plan Nine from Outer Space, is a heavily debated movie because of the contrast between its endearing and disastrous qualities. It is discussed heavily in the articles by Roy Kinnard, Richard Bojarski, and Joe Leydon. Kinnard express how horrible they believe the movie is, but Bojarski and Leydon share a different outlook by describing it as endearing and ambitious. Kinnard and Leydon have extremely valid points, however I have found my opinions swaying towards Bojarski’s positive outlook on the movie. It is easy to bash things before knowing the full story as Kinnard and Leydon did, but Bojarski’s positive outlook that strays from popular opinion is a form of enlightenment.
Seven tasks must be included in consideration of team dynamics and structure. The first of which is defining the goal, mission or function of a specific team. The team must know what it is being asked to accomplish. The second area of consideration is assessing what skills, abilities, knowledge or potential to acquire such would be needed amongst selected team members. Identification of potential team members should include an assessment of the skills, knowledge and abilities or the potential to acquire such so that ultimately the team has the building blocks with which to succeed in its mission, goal or function. This assessment must include an understanding of realistic potential contributions by potential team members with the included assessment of whether or not the acquisition of skills and knowledge can be made available through research and analysis.

The team effectiveness can be influenced by task characteristics, team size and team composition. Task characteristics defined as the task complexity demands teamwork, but teams also work better when the work is well-structured tasks rather than ambiguous because it is easier to coordinate the work among several people. Teamwork effectiveness also can be influenced by task interdependence. Team members must share materials, information, or expertise to perform their jobs. Teams usually better because high interdependence improves communication between each other and also motivates team membership. However, teamwork will become less effective if task goals differ. In Maze Runner movie, most of the people hold to a same goal which escape from the maze makes them become brave and build a team to make a run for it although they know this task may cause them kill by Grivers.
In a team-oriented setting, everyone contributes to how well the group succeeds overall. You work with fellow members of the group to complete the work that needs to be done. Having the right people in the correct roles is an important factor in measuring the success of a team, where you are united with the other members to complete the main goals. Every group is made up of definite strengths and weaknesses. Our team's 3-5 major strengths necessary to work accordingly consist of Informer, Summarizer, Orienter, Piggy-Backer, and Encourager. One of our strengths as a team is that we get input from everyone involved. Every member of our team is a leader in some way. Part of being a good leader is knowing how important it is to receive the best ideas from each member of their team. We attend group meetings where we discuss any challenges, issues, and problems. At these meetings, we often exchange ideas or brainstorm new ones with each other and come up with the best and most creative team solutions as potential answers to those perceived problems.
When a team sets out to do a project, the whole group wishes to agree on a way to judge the high-quality of the final product. The performance and outcomes requirements that the organization units for itself have to be used to help motivate the group to acting at its peak stage.
Skills and knowledge possessed by every member is also important for a team to become high performance. Although it is among the most important factors, however, it must be coupled with a good working relationship with every team member and good collaboration with every team member. The members who possess the good skills and wide knowledge will be a useful resource to the team if that team member can share their strengths with the other team members and vice versa. It is usually misconstrued that having skillful and intelligent team members is already enough to make a team work right. This kind of thinking is the reason why most teams, despite all of those competent members they have, fail to achieve their goals. A team should establish one common goal, not to think that way and develop a good working relationship with each member. (retrieved from: http://www.strictlysuccess.com, August 18, 2005) This can be done by self awareness exercises, like the DISC assessment and other assessments or any other kind of self awareness exercises regarding communication style differences. Then these factors and important pieces of information should be taken into full consideration before the actual project is begun. These exercise or assessments can be great ice breakers and mark the difference between a group of individuals merely assigned to a team, as opposed to functioning as...
Working in teams provides an opportunity for individuals to come together and establish a rapport towards others within a group. Teamwork is classified as people with different strengths and skills who work together to achieve a common goal. When a team works well, specific objectives are fulfilled and satisfied. Teamwork plays a crucial role in implementing and fulfilling a common goal in a team project. Each member plays a role and takes on different responsibilities combined together. In different stages of teamwork, conflicts and arguments may occur for as members have different standpoints which need to be harmonized within the team. The key to having an effective teamwork is to explore each member's unique abilities to motivate them.
Many businesses place an emphasis on the importance of teamwork. A good team consists of people with different skills, abilities and characters. A successful team is able to blend these differences together to enable the organisation to achieve its desired objectives.
