There are is a lot of stress behind picking a career in high school, even though they remind you again and again that you don’t have to stay with the career that you choose right now, it’s really hard to think of what you want to do with your entire life. Since I have to choose my top three interest I would have to say that they are Photography, Ag Education and English teacher.
I want to do a career in photography because it something I really enjoy doing and I believe I am fairly good at. I want to be a photographer and own my own studio. Being a photographer is a lot of work and many people have to have a day job, but I would be doing something I love so I’m okay with it. As far as education, there isn’t a lot to it. According to study.com the education you need is a “High school diploma or equivalent, though many photographers complete relevant postsecondary coursework or hold a degree.” The starting salary for a photographer is $18,850 and the median Salary is $31,710 per year and you can work up to make $72,200 if you work hard. I picked this because I have always wanted to be a teacher and I love Agriculture so I put the two together and found a career that I would love and would actually enjoy doing. To be an AG teacher you need to have a Bachelor's degree with teacher education program and you have to a teaching licence. The starting salary for Ag teachers is $42,000 per year. The median salary for an Ag teacher is $78,370 each year. The college I would consider going to to become an Ag teacher would be Wilmington college in Ohio, but I don’t want to go that far away from home so I would prefer to go to a college closer to home if I can find
