WHY WOMEN SHOULD WORK AFTER MARRIAGE
Hello everyone! The past few weeks, while I was juggling look up some information on what topic should I try to persuade people at? Then I have found some interesting article when they mention about life after marriage. Some of the words from the article that really hits me “Woman has to leave behind her career and submit herself to become a good wife and mother so she can live in happy marriage” there it is in an article by Suzanne Venker in Fox News. Those words I think it quite famous from my grandmother’s generation. Why women should work after marriage? I believe this topic is much discussed and debated in almost every circle especially the status of woman after she gets married. Almost everyone I know has their own strong view, opinion and perspective on the issue. A lot of people believe that women shouldn’t be working after getting married and think that they have a strong reason to believe so. The best part about working is the process of learning that comes with it. To learn something new things in life age is no barrier. Neither is marital status. It is rightly said that a person never stops learning and this comes true when a person interacts with different people every single day. Try to keep yourself determined when you have to learn something new. However, if you stop continuing your job after marriage, then your knowledge becomes stagnant and to learn new things will diminish. You could learn things about people, about your own work, or life in general. Plus if you don’t quit your job for marriage then you will keep learning new aspects in your work life and will develop as a professional and as a logical individual. The Changing Dynamics of Work and Family as it relates to the topic of family dynamics, careers and their impact on the individual and family throughout the lifespan was written by Marlynn Levin, Director of The Work and Human Center, and The Merrill-Palmer Institute for Family and Human Development. The author states that in the past two decades, Americans have experience some major changes in their family dynamics and structure. The author maintains that during the lifespan many families and individuals have struggled with balancing their homes, careers, and family life. However, today employers and educational institutes are coming up with strategies to assist families and individuals with balancing their family life, education, and careers. The author also maintains that the dramatic changes of todays social, economic, and political structure of the American families has put many families and individuals in a crisis. Today, many women choose their own lifestyle and have more freedom. They can choose if they want to get married and have kids or not. Coontz said “what’s new is not that women make half their families living, but that for the first time they have substantial control over their own income, along with the social freedom to remain single or to leave an unsatisfactory marriage” (98). When women couldn’t work, they had no options but to stay with their husband for financial support. Working is a new way of freedom because they can choose to stay or leave their husband and make their own decisions.
Exhilarated screams and contagious laughter pierce the air. The squeaking and screeching of the rusty old gate travel throughout the playground, as I tower towards it. Sprinting down the crumbly old path, leading to the sand court. There are crowds and clusters of children everywhere. The wind twisting and gusting throughout the awkward side bangs and awful bob haircuts. Recess was by far the most exciting and adventurous part of my second-grade life. Spotting my best friend, Lydia, out of the mass of children, I frantically run up to her and ask her to play Newcomb with me. Newcomb was the best recess game to me, simply because it always had the cutest boys. Lydia immediately replies with complete agreement.

New families, across the nation, should be allowed a minimum six months of paid maternity leave.
The United States is one of three industrialized countries that do not have policies put in place that mandate companies to provide paid parental leave. In 1993, U.S President, Bill Clinton, enacted the family and medical leave act (FMLA) which allows for employees to take unpaid, job-protected leave for up to twelve weeks for medical reasons if their employer has more than fifty employees employed at the company. Later on in January of 2015, President Barack Obama signed an executive order that entitles federal employees for up to six weeks of paid sick days to take care of a newborn child or an adopted child. According to the research men who don't believe in steady jobs or are less successful at work are more likely to enter into a cohabitation union because it encourages an egalitarian pattern of support for the nucleus. However, a two point increase on value on money slows men into entering any kind of union from 13% to 11%. Men are less likely to get married or cohabit of they find interest in making money. On the other hand, Women who value money and career are much more likely to enter into a cohabitation union as stated by the decrease in union formation from 13% to 10% derivative of a two point increase in career and money value. These women believe that marriage's gender-specific roles may force them to put their careers in a secondary track to that of their husbands and they are unwilling to do so. This study is significant because it is opposite of what happened in the men's study.
What is marriage? Based on what a person believes, marriage can mean many different things. For example, someone with a Christian background might say that it is a holy matrimony of man and woman. For someone with a background of atheism, it might mean committing to their significant other, which ever gender they are, for the rest of their life. However, this can change from person to person depending on what they believe marriage is.

One area of women’s reproductive rights and health that has become influenced by government policies is abortion. Abortion is a very controversial topic in today’s world. There are a lot of misconceptions and hidden facts about what actually happens. Studies say that “restricting legal abortion does not reduce abortion incidence and legalizing abortion does not increase it; rates are lowest in countries where it is legal and contraceptives and reproductive health information are widely available” (Burn, 53). What is one of the largest problems with families in the United States? One of the problems that has been growing for years now is divorce. In the United States, about forty to fifty percent of people, who get married, get divorces in their lifetime (Kazdin, 2000). When families choose to get a divorce, they are effecting everyone around them. If children are involve, the impact could be even worse. There are ways to help families to not get a divorce but not all divorces can be overturned. One of these marriage saving strategies is marriage counseling and pre-marriage counseling.
Because so many wonderful, supportive people have kindly asked Holly and me about our wedding plans, I think it 's time to come clean. I 've avoided this topic for a while now because I didn 't want to step on anyone 's toes. Sex work has long been criticized and stigmatized in our society. Whereas several members of society read sex work as immoral and degrading to girls, feminist argue that sex work is basically simply work, which it's not essentially harmful to girls. beneath circumstances within which sex work is accepted and controlled in society, within which the sex employee is protected and granted an equivalent rights as the other laborer, sex work has the chance to be helpful to girls.
The decision of married women to diligently pursue a career comparable to their husbands has redefined traditional spousal roles forever. Dual-career couples are increasing in number constantly, as more and more women decide that they want to accomplish ambitions they have created for themselves before, if not instead of, living out the traditional woman's role of wife and mother. These marriages pose an amazing challenge to gender role customs, with dramatically different priorities and means of cooperation than ever considered (or rather, recognized) before now. These husbands and wives undermine the traditional structure of marital roles. They are concentrating more on career development than family development, seeking self-sufficiency, high achievement, better social status, and financial success. And of course, they acknowledge both positive and negative consequences of these practices.
Couples getting married at a young age used to be a widely accepted, and even preferred, choice in the marriage process. Now however, it is a choice that could be potentially destructive to the relationship in the long run. 90 percent of couples marry by the age of 50 in the United States. Although marriage can be a wonderful blessing, 40 to 50 percent of couples in the United States end up divorcing (“Marriage and Divorce”). It is for this reason that I believe that the process of getting married should be held at a higher standard, and therefore have a longer, more substantial process.
“Each year, 15 million girls are married before the age of 18.” (girlsnotbrides.org)Each day there is 28girls every minute being married off while still being children. These are children and should be treated as so, and be protected. At a young age children, should stay children instead of having to worry about what life will bring in child marriage. Child marriage should be banned it, destroys the bright future of a child forever.
There have been many issues in America and around the world. One issue that has always been brought up with just about anyone is if Gay Marriage should be legal.
