From the time students reach Junior High they are told that college is the only way to have a guaranteed secure life. What they are not told about is the expenses, time, and preparation. College has only gotten more and more expensive throughout the years and it will just keep getting worse if something is not done about it. The perspective that college education should be free should be fully embraced because free education helps people decide whether they want to go to college without pricing being a factor, helps more lower-income students make it to graduation, and it stops students debt from crushing the younger generation.
