Drug abuse is running rampant in many countries around the world with billions of dollars spent every day in an effect to prevent the use of drugs, treating the many addicts that are effected by drugs and to fight the crime that inherently comes with having illegal drugs in society. Dihydrogen Monoxide has become one of the most overlooked and most used drug in the world. Dihydrogen Monoxide goes by many different street names Dihydrogen Oxide, Hydrogen Hydroxide, Hydronium Hydroxide, Hydric acid, DHMO, Adam’s Ale and the most commonly known name water. Water is one of the oldest drugs still being used today in societies around the world, and kills millions every year. Water is a colorless odorless chemical liquid that can be found in many common household chemicals that we use every day. Water is a substance that is so unordinary that it is not only an acid but also a base. This quality of water makes it a highly capable solvent that in even small doses can do small extreme damage to not only the human but also can cause damage to objects when we apply it directly them. But still water is so common that you can purchase it in almost any city in any country without there being any kind of repercussions. Water has been harmful effects that should be addressed. For example death can be caused by water if you accidently breathe the substance in and even lead to hysteria if used improperly.
