Many pregnant women give up their child up for adoption instead of having an abortion. By giving their child up for adoption they are giving a couple the chance to be parents and complete a family. There is not only one type of adoption there is a couple different ones. Some children are adopted out of the foster care system which are children who are taken away from their biological parents and are put in a temporary home. However this can turn out permanently if the foster parents want to adopt the child. Another adoption is the adoption of a child in the united states. The third one is the adoption of a child from a different country, there are thousands of orphaned children in other countries who need families. The last adoption is to adopt a stepchild. Some couples who get married end up having stepchildren this is sometimes when adoption comes in. Now there is another adoption called open adoption... What does this mean? This means that the adoptive parents allow the biological parents to know and have contact with the child and the adoptive parents. However there is a dilemma about adoptive parents being legally bound to give access to the birth parents of their children.Adoptive parents should not be legally bound to give access to the biological parents of their children for the following reasons.
