College is hard, scary, and stressful especially with children involved. I think it is a good thing I went to college when I did otherwise, I would be stuck in the same minimum wage job that I have had for the past year. It is going to be hard and stressful but the truth is that were all scared. It is just a matter of pushing myself into getting where I want to be. My main fear with college is mainly flunking out, it is scary but, it is also achievable. I thought to myself, “Hey, if my best friend can go to college then why I can I not”. Talking about my last football games and the senior project makes me think about graduating and leaving La Serna. Lots of people do not want to graduate and move on because they don’t know what is ahead of them. I have been fortunate enough to have three older siblings that have all graduated and moved on in life. I have seen what happens after high school and it is not scary at all.
However, it is not only our turn to graduate, but also our turn to assume full responsibility for the direction our lives will take. From this day forward, our lives are our own. We will now make decisions about our futures. For some of us, that decision will take us to college, possibly a two or four year degree. Some of us may even go further. For others, it will be work, setting out to make a living for themselves, perhaps attending college later on, perhaps not. Some will join the military, shipping out to a far off and exotic location, or maybe even defense on the homefront. Some will even take a year or two off for travel, or to stay at home and relax. No matter what choice you make, it is important to remember that it is our time to make these decisions. For these things, it's our turn.
Remember that you will be making new friends, that those people you have shared every day with for four or maybe 12 years will be going their separate ways. You will have many moments where you won't have anyone around to boost you up, where you won't be told if it is the right thing or the good thing to do.

Life After High School I’ve just entered my senior year of high school. I know that this is a very important year. I have a lot of decisions to make and not much time to make them. Due to certain circumstances, students are not permitted to leave school grounds to go have lunch off-campus. Critics are quick to argue that it is unsafe, and adds unnecessary dangers that could be avoidable by not leaving the school area. It is arguable that such doubt can be preventable with precautions that the school and staff can take in order to prevent any foreseeable accidents, and also reward those who do well in school by offering them off campus passes to let them go to lunch, in return students will have to maintain good grades and behavior. Therefore, students in school should be given the freedom to leave school campus during their lunch period as long as they maintain good grades, good attendance, and good behavior.

Have you ever been nervous and excited for something at the same time? That is how I felt during my last year of high school leading all the way up to graduation. I had never sat down and figured out what I wanted to do with my life; I would always pick something then switch to something else almost immediately.
