Basketball is my favorite sport to play when I have nothing to do.What is basketball? Basketball is a game played between two teams of five players in which goals are scored by throwing a ball through a netted hoop fixed above each end of the court. There is an the inflated ball used in the game of basketball. When you are playing the game you have to be very accurate when shooting the ball in the net. The first game of basketball was played on December 21,1891. James Naismith published rules for a new game using five basic ideas and thirteen rules. Today all thirteen rules are used in a national basketball league. There are five referees that would make sure that all of those rules are being followed in the game of basketball. Referees are people that are in control of the game. They make sure that there are not any confusion in the game and that the teams get into any altercations. I am very inspired to play basketball as and career. Lebron James was one of the people to really make me want to also play basketball.
