The “Perfect” Thanksgiving In the James family Thanksgiving is far from perfect but this year I wanted to change that. Know more playing Minecraft on the Xbox. It's just going to be chatting at the dinner table and eating till we pass out, while watching football. I was determined this will be the perfect Thanksgiving. But know I had to pick out my outfit for tomorrow. I'm ready” I said with wearing my second favorite dress. A very simple one in fact, it was made of cotton and polyester, I thought it was such a pretty and simple dress. or so I thought. I didn't know what was wrong with dress. It wasn't to tight but when I went out to show my mom and dad they stood there gawking like there was a ghost behind me.

Mere words can't describe how happy I was to cook. Tea cakes, sweet potato pie, honey glazed pound cake, Roasted turkey and leafy greens. I get to Make them all. Of course since I'm a spoiled brat I had to get my hair ready with my apron. Then and only then will I be able to cook. We were in the kitchen all day. You could just. Smell the richness of the turkey. I could almost taste the silky cream sweet potato pie. It would make your mouth water . Halfway through cooking Most of our family was already here (They were going to sleep the night) They pitched in to help, without them we would’ve been cooking through Thanksgiving.
Bags the size of buildings were under my eyes. At any moment I was going to fall over. Cooking was the fun part. Licking the batter. Playing sourds with the spatulas . Now we had to set the table rap the food and put in the fridge and actually go to sleep. It was About 10:35 when I went to sleep. I was almost sleep. The cushion of my pillow and the warmth of the blanket ... then it hit me WE GOT SO CAUGHT UP IN COOKING WE DIDN'T HAVE DINNER!!!!!. with all the remaining strength left in my body. I limped to the kitchen half asleep
