Victoria has a long history of being a football town. My uncles whom I am close to played in high school. Because how the town loves football and how my uncle love football I love football. The enjoyment I get from playing football is how it keeps you shape and shows how teams struggle, and playing makes you part of a team.
Even though other sports keep you in shape, and have struggling teams and makes you part of the team football is still my favorite sport. Football keeps you in shape from all the conditioning so you will be ready for the physical contact. You condition a lot and run drills so you get hurt during games. They prepare you for a lot of hard physical contact. Not only does football keep you in shape but
also it teaches you how to make changes during tough times. During World War II the Steelers and Eagles combined teams. The reason they combined teams is because both teams lost a lot of players so they combined. They also were called the Steagles and they finished with a 5-4-1 record. Another reason I like it is because I have been playing it since I was very little. I have been playing since 4th grade where I started at the peewee level and now I am going to be playing for Victoria High School. I am also used to playing with the same teammates as I did in 4th grade, which makes our team closer since we know how each other play.

Football provides the American people an event to look forward to. It keeps people on the edges of their seats, wondering what will happen next. When football was first invented, people would not think it would turn into a professional sport. At its creation, their football gear was nothing but leather helmets, shoulder pads, pants, and boot like shoes. I think as of now, this sport will continue to grow in popularity as the years go by. Football will still be a major part of our culture in years to come due to the type of passion that never dies down, it is ubiquitous. The economics of the industry will grow, as well as the culture celebrating the sport, and the global impact will never cease to entertain the population.
A good football team combines strength and speed. Physical contact, especially involving blocking and tackling, is a basic part of football. The game also requires quick reaction and thorough preparation for each game. In addition split second teamwork is necessary in order to have a winning team like the San Francisco 49ers(my favorite team) one of the best team in the (NFL). Football - probably the most loved and sought after sport, and definitely the most popular in America. Undoubtedly, this powerful sport has taken American culture by storm after the baseball craze and has become a mega moneymaking business worth billions of dollars. Though I basically know nothing about football, I definitely know that it is seen to encourage unity when it comes to teams, games, and seasons and that the game brings much positive vibe.
