I will always remember what happened everytime I get into a car. It happened three months ago. I would always ask my dad if I could drive. I know that if I asked my mom, that she would say no.
I would always ask my dad if I could drive on the weekends when he would feed his horses. I would beg him to let me drive, but he would always give me the same answer, no. He would ask me “Why do you want to drive so bad?” I would tell him “My friends would tell me how they drove to another town, and I haven’t even been behind the wheel.
It took my dad two weeks, but he finally let me drive. It was a Friday night probably around 9:00. I was nervous when I got behind the wheel. He asked me “Why are you so nervous?”I told him “Well, it’s my first time driving, especially during the night.” He laughed and turned the car on. He told me to drive on the dirt roads instead of the highway, so I did. Things were going great until a cars started to come. I would just turn to my dad and ask “What do I do?”
