It was about 8:00 at night, my heart was pounding, my breathing became irregular, uncontrollable tears slid down my face. I felt the warm tears just dropping onto my hands. I walked into the bathroom, getting ready to shower. I slowly turned my head, up, down, left, and right. I didn’t really know what to do at this point. Multiple things built up to this point and this story was only one of them. It was in fifth grade in school, the bell just rang and my friends and I sprinted through the hallway to the park to hang out. But, there was a huge problem, one of my friends named Melody earlier said, “Let’s leave Krista, I don’t want her to come with us.” So the rest of us, Jill, Wanda and I listened, even though she was a “friend” of ours and …show more content…
now we were at the park, shopping at the ice cream truck and hanging out. About 30 minutes passed and we started to walk back to our elementary school park. I was looking down not noticing anything until I heard someone said, “Look, she’s over there.” I soon lifted my head a bit, licking the frosty, chilled, delicious ice cream and saw her sitting down alone on the dirty, hard blacktop.
We started to walk towards her and engage a conversation with her like nothing happened. We all acted like we never neglected her and we were all friends. It was really obvious that she was mad at us. But, the reason why Melody said that we should leave her and not let her come was because she would always talk smack about us and lie all the time. Every single day, she would always hang out with us and pretend to be our friend, because people didn’t like her and we were the only people she could talk with. We were done with it, and we didn’t want to be her friend. But, this was in 5th grade are now all really close friends and we all probably even forgot this ever happened but on with the story. It was about a few hours later, I got home finish my very simple homework, and now I’m currently lying on my bed on my cracked Ipod scrolling through the feeds of Instagram. I soon got annoyed when I noticed I kept getting notifications on Kik. I clicked out of my Instagram wondering what was going on, and found out that someone had made a huge group chat with multiple people. One person I remembered mostly was this girl named
Rose. She was one of my “good friends” I guess. We hung out a couple of times but not that often. What I remember specifically about her is that in the group chat she basically started bashing me and the other people in the group chat. She called me multiple names, told other people’s secrets. It was horrible. The only reason she started to blow up like that is because I liked her boyfriend. You see, I had a crush on this boy since the 3rd grade. His name was Dale. Him and I would talk a lot and I genuinely thought he liked me. But that wasn’t the case. I got my hopes really high up just to be crushed 10x as much in the end. He started dating Rose. We were still close friends and talking, but I was just devastated. Anyway, the girl Rose stopped texting in the group chat and did something really unexpected. Even though she was bashing me, she kinda helped me. She went on private chat and sent me a screenshot of the girl Krista saying some really nasty things about Melody, Wanda, and I. But, if you remember there was one more girl named Jill. She let her off the hook even though she did the exact same things as us. Jill was my best friend since the 3rd grade. She was a very good friend I can trust. But, the confusing thing is that she admitted multiple times she hated Krista too. Krista let her off the hook though. She thought that she was the only person who didn’t hate her, she was wrong. Back to the group chat, Rose kept talking smack some more and Melody kept defending everyone there. She didn’t like that so she spilled one of her secrets. Melody trusted her the most out of everyone, but since that happened, she stopped trusting her for a while. About an hour later, the group chat stopped and I now had to go take a shower and that’s when I got here really depressed. Everything that happened before this started to build up that’s how all of that happened. One thing I have learned is to be careful to who I choose to be friends with because I will never know, they could be gossiping about me everyday and I would never know about it. I have also learned to never get my hopes up. When I get my hopes up, I will expect something to happen and will soon learn that the only thing that happens is my feelings get crushed or it didn’t turn out like how I planned it to be. As well as, not letting somebody calling me names and bullying me get to me This experience made me stronger because I feel

Rena Cohen had returned from camp high-spirited, anticipating her long-awaited senior year of high school. With only two days left to catch up with her friends, Rena called Malka Koenig and Lizzy Zimmerman and set up to see them at Cafe Bonjour. She couldn’t wait to hear how Malka enjoyed her lessons in computer programming and how Lizzy enjoyed her stay in camp. At the cafe, Rena realized something was wrong. Lizzy and Malka looked uncomfortable around each other and after just a few minutes, Malka got up and walked out. Lizzy refused to tell Rena what was wrong, so Rena got up and left too. When school began, things only got worse. Malka insisted that Rena was her best friend, Lizzy insisted that Rena was her best friend, and Rena wasn’t so sure she was friends with either of them. One thing was for certain: they were no longer the inseparable threesome everyone envied. As her year progressed, Rena grew more and more distant from her once undisputed friends. Their silence baffled her and she felt lost in the crowd; by twelfth even the loners had found their place in the grade. Malka became close friends with Tzipporah since they were both G.O. heads. Lizzy became friends with a girl named Riva. One day Malka approached Rena and told her she wanted to tell ...
“Ding”, the bell had just come alive with a mighty ring, ending the last day of school. I began shoveling the materials from my trainwreck of a locker into my bag when a close friend of mine approached me. She began bragging about the birthday party she was planning. Her arrogance annoyed me because she did not invite me, claiming that I wouldn’t know anybody. Honestly, she probably was scared of what I would do to her reputation. All she ever thought about was herself, with no regard for others. This wasn’t the first time it happened, and this pattern began to anger me, I deserved better. And that is when I decided I didn’t need her, I left her to live her own life. I felt as free as a bird but she was left alone like Scrooge. My friend
Jeremy, Joy, and Darin have been best friends for nine years. Their friendship started at the municipal swimming pool when Joy started beating up a bully and Darin and Jeremy jumped in to help her out. All three of them got kicked out of the pool that day, and then when they got back in town they all went
When I finally found my words I asked what was going on and my mother told me that my sister was in a car accident. When we arrived at the scene all I could see was my sister’s car sideways in the middle of the road with the entire front of it smashed up towards the windshield. As I looked around I saw my sister, emerging from a tan SUV I had never seen before, running towards my parents. The ambulances began to arrive and I was in my sister’s arms when I realized that there was no other damaged car at the
Everyone in the school loved her except me and Jeff. That meant this year we had to go above and beyond. So they put you into pairs of two, president, and vice president. Me and Jeff got paired up and Megan and a kid named Tommy Durant.
Once upon a time, I saw the world like I thought everyone should see it, the way I thought the world should be. I saw a place where there were endless trials, where you could try again and again, to do the things that you really meant to do. But it was Jeffy that changed all of that for me. If you break a pencil in half, no matter how much tape you try to put on it, it'll never be the same pencil again. Second chances were always second chances. No matter what you did the next time, the first time would always be there, and you could never erase that. There were so many pencils that I never meant to break, so many things I wish I had never said, wish I had never done. Most of them were small, little things, things that you could try to glue back together, and that would be good enough. Some of them were different though, when you broke the pencil, the lead inside it fell out, and broke too, so that no matter which way you tried to arrange it, they would never fit together and become whole again. Jeff would have thought so too. For he was the one that made me see what the world really was. He made the world into a fairy tale, but only where your happy endings were what you had to make, what you had to become to write the words, happily ever after. But ever since I was three, I remember wishing I knew what the real story was.
For this role play I chose to create a situation where I had to tell my best friend that I was not going to be rooming with her next year. This is something that I am struggling with because I do not want to hurt her feeling, but rooming with her is really hard for me. I feel like if I tell her that I don’t want to room with her, it might ruin our friendship, but I know if we keep rooming together it will ruin our friendship because we are so different. While I was acting this out with my listener I notice that I would have a hard time finding the words I need to say in response to hard questions she gives me. When my listener asked me if she had done anything in particular that
When we were together if she was having a bad day, she would find opportunities to put me down to help her feel better. Whenever we were shopping and we tried on clothes, I would tell her I like a certain outfit and she would say, “I do not think that looks good on you.” She would also say, “That’s not your style.” I would feel angry because I liked that outfit and I shouldn’t care what people thought. She was my friend her opinion should matter, but in those times it didn’t. She wouldn’t just put down my clothes she would also put down me in general. If we were hanging out, and she got an opportunity to go do some things I was not normally allowed to do, she would tell me I was dumb. Around the winter before we started fighting, there was a fresh pile of snow on the ground almost flat as a piece of paper. We were at her house, when she asked me if I wanted to go to davenport with her, and she would drive. I declined because my parents didn’t let me go to davenport unless an adult is driving. She said “we could just go.” I said, “No.” She said, “Why how are they going to find out.” I said, “What if something happens then they will never let me go again.” She said, “Whatever.” If she was not mad for those things she was always mad about something else. She would ask me to do small favors, and she would tell me that I did them wrong. When I was with her I was always the person doing everything
There's No Place Like Home- Personal Narrative. Other than the sweltering heat of the summer in Oklahoma City, the only dilemma is tornadoes. I grew up in the middle of this “tornado alley” and eventually developed a sixth sense for detecting tornadic activity. Even in the 1980’s, tornadoes were known for their violent crime wave, vandalizing neighborhoods and kidnapping children and adults.
It was Tuesday February 2, 2016. I went to school as usual and stayed after school for math tutoring, because I needed help with my homework on Math Lab. Instead of going home like I always do I decided to go to the Beauty Supply store, because the next day I went to work, and I could not wear my regular nose piercing. I had to have a clear one in. I went to the Angie’s Beauty Supply store on South Cobb Drive. I got the clear nose piercing and headed home. I got home around five o’clock which was later than usual. I was tired. Before I get out the car my sister Zahria ran to my car and said, “Can you take me to the McEachern Basketball game?” I got so angry because I hate when she asks me to take her somewhere. I said, “No”. She got mad and stormed back in the house. Meanwhile I was still in the car and my best friend called me. I had not spoken to my best friend Jamir in forever because she was busy with school and I was busy
So I walked to class just in time to find the person that I needed to confirm everything with, Donna’s cousin. I asked her about what really happen last night and she told me a whole different story. I had to ask the other girls that were there last night to get their side of the story. Surprisingly, it was the same as Donna’s cousin but not Donna’s story. I walked back to my seat and start thinking and waiting for the bell to ring for lunchtime. Finally, the bell rang and I walk outside of the classroom to find Donna talking to Tammy. I walked up straight to Donna and slapped her face, “Really? Why in the world would you do such a thing? I thought you were my friend? Why would you turn my own best friend against me?”
I never really thought about where my life was going. I always believed life took me where I wanted to go, I never thought that I was the one who took myself were I wanted to go. Once I entered high school I changed the way I thought. This is why I chose to go to college. I believe that college will give me the keys to unlock the doors of life. This way I can choose for myself where I go instead of someone choosing for me.
On my way to school I followed the speed limit to avoid getting a ticket. When I got to school I proceeded to go to my first class which is Sociology. When class was let out I went to the quad where I smoked a cigarette and did home work for my classes for the next day. Then at approximately 12:00 P.M. I met up with my friend Tonya then we walked to our next class, Theatre, which we had together. While in our Theatre class we joked around and criticized different movies, and the bad acting in several of those movies. When that class ended my friend Tonya and I decided to got to the mall.
Zienna and I are not the best of friends anymore for two reasons. When she wanted information
