2. "When will I see you again?" Nell whispered, her cold, pale hands clasped around Daniel's. Though she stared into his face, desperately trying to read him, Daniel didn't return her gaze either out of guilt or indifference. She couldn't tell. "If you won't tell me where you're goin', you'll at least tell me that." Daniel pulled his hand from Nell's grasp, stepping away to look out the window at the dry winter landscape, resting his hand on the table to his right. "I've got the right to know," she asserted, staring pleadingly at Daniel's distant profile. His face was that of a stranger's to her in that moment. "What I think," he laughed humorlessly through gritted teeth, "is that it doesn't matter. None of this does." His teeth were bared …show more content…
into a vague smile, a defensive, hostile air about him. A dry chuckle escaped Nell's lips. "None of this?" she growled quietly as she strode forward to grab Daniel's right arm. He pulled away at the touch as if prodded by a hot iron, but Nell held her grip, digging her nails into the fabric of his shirt. "Tell me what this is." "Don't think on it," Daniel hissed, shoving Nell aside as he reached for the doorknob. Before he could exit the cottage, however, he heard a click behind him. He froze. Completely still, with no emotion in his voice, Daniel uttered, "Put down the gun, Eleanor." No response. "I told you to put down the gun." Wrapping his fingers around the pistol hung at his belt, he turned slowly, raising the firearm to Nell in defense. "Eleanor." "I'm not movin'." The two stood, staring each other in the eye unblinkingly for several long seconds. Finally, Nell released a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding. "Tell me." Daniel's stoic expression faltered for a split second.
He shakily lowered his pistol and broke contact with Nell's stare. "You need to get out of here," he choked hoarsely. "You can still live a normal life; it's not too late for you. I won't be able to live with myself if you get killed because of me." "So you're off to kill a man, huh?" Nell whispered. She set her pistol on the table by the window and stepping closer to set her hands firmly on Daniel's shoulders. "You won't be able to live with yourself because of me dyin' on you?" she scoffed. "The only reason you won't be livin' is 'cause of your own stupid decisions that're gonna get you shot and killed!" Daniel stood in silence for a few seconds, fighting to keep his composure. After blinking away a tear that threatened to fall, he glanced up to meet Nell's intense gaze. "Don't do this to me," "Do what?" she exclaimed, shoving Daniel back and crossing her arms over her chest. "Look out for you? 'Cause that's exactly what I'm tryin' t' do!" She grabbed the collar of Daniel's shirt, pulling him close. "I love you more than anything on this goddamn Earth," she growled threateningly, "and I am more than willin' to kill a man to save you, you understand? I've done it before and I won't hesitate to do it
again." The two looked in each other's eyes for several long seconds. Daniel smiled a vague, defeated smile. "I don't got a choice, then," he muttered waveringly, shaking his head. "I'm comin' with you," she affirmed in the same tone of voice.
“Wait.” Daniel reached across the table and took her hand. “You are special and deserve the best. Please don’t forget that. You deserve to be treated with love and respect no matter what. Never settle for less.”
Daniel sighed, he wasn't just going to allow her to stand there and watch him sketch away.
“Don't call me that- nevermind- The only way you shall survive this ordeal before you is if you abandon your gun-toting ways”
She glanced around and leant forwards. ‘I want to commit the perfect murder by learning from your mistakes.’
“We’re done, you hear me? We’re done and you and my wife are done! If I catch you anywhere near me or Tara, I’ll fucking kill you! You hear me? You so much as call, you’re fucking dead!” He let go of Vaughn’s shirt and watched him drop to the floor. He walked over Vaughn’s curled up body and left, leaving the door wide open.
“So what? We’re already dead,” He snarled. Pip sighed, getting off of the bed in a last attempt to persuade him. Damien’s crimson eyes continued to bore into him; irritated as ever. “The only person that can hurt us is my Dad, and you know it!”
“You really think it was me?” he asked, holding his hands in the air. “You’re more stupid than you look, like mother like daughter. You’ve got no evidence, for all I know, it could be you… or Margaret, or even Doreen that has driven her away. I suggest you all take a good look at yourselves before you start pointing the finger because all you do it shout with your big mouths and throw accusations around.” He almost tripped down the last step as his movements became more animated.
“Just listen. Your Uncle Cleid is the one who murdered me. He was my brother and he hurt me, I can’t imagine what he could do to you or your brother.”
“Are you sure you still want to do this? I don’t want you to hurt her.” Niall whispers quietly so the guards don’t hear.
John: “I got those papers you wanted.” Shere stretches out her hand and John exasperatingly hands her the files.
Can’t you hear, asked a girl with auburn hair and a face that was curled in disgust. We’ve been screaming at you!
"Heads up!" Gladio called out, knocking a few daemons back as they tried to advance on
“Lindsey, grab Precious and go hide under the table,” I ran to the door, the screeches getting louder and louder.
“What the hell do you want, Joey? Haven’t you done enough?” I pleaded at my boyfriend.
It was 12:00 midnight, It was dark and very silent. “OUCH!” I said rubbing my toe cap. I believe I was in a brown square box. I mean, what do they call a moving object on the road? A truck I think. I have been getting shipped all my life. They call me a shoe, also known as an Sneaker. I come in different sizes, shapes and colors. I’m from China, but the materials you will need for me are all over the world.
