Billy Once upon a time there was a ghost named Billy. He had powers where he could teleport, conjure tornados with his hands, and he could become invisible. He could also read minds. One day he was teleporting to different worlds to see what kind of technology they had. He saw all different types like portal guns and spiritual rituals that made everything you thought about come to life. (Not real technology) What caught his attention the most was when he went to a currently unknown planet where there solar system contained seven suns, constant wars with other planets, and technology so advanced that they had weapons that had the ability to vaporize entire dimensions reality’s. He wanted to know what the time was so he asked a stranger. “Hello there little boy,” he said. “Do you know what time it is.” The boy responded by saying, “1st of all, I am a girl, second of all, it is 15:22.” He then left being a little embarrassed. He didn’t want to stay long so he just looked around for a while. He found a weapon that could vaporize things but not reality’s. “Excuse me?” he asked. “How much does this cost.” The vendor …show more content…
responded, “It costs 100 schmecals.”He wanted to buy it but he couldn’t because he didn’t have any of their money. He didn’t even know what it was called. He then decided to steal it. He teleported away but was followed by them. He then conjured some tornados to mess up the sensors they were using to follow him even when he teleported. It did mess them up but they were quickly rebooted. They followed him. They sent missiles that followed him when he teleported.
He decided that he should fight because this was going nowhere. He conjured the tornadoes. “I have an idea that might work,” he thought. He then turned invisible. He went into the spaceship and looked around. It was weird because it was in an alien language he couldn’t understand. He looked for what he thought was the engine room. He then once again conjured tornadoes the explosion was so strong that he felt nothing because he was a ghost. The whole ship was destroyed. “Ha that’s what you get,” he screamed at the explosion. He then realized that the weapon was also destroyed because he was see through but the weapon wasn’t. His whole journey was just a waste of time. All that trouble only to know that he destroyed an entire alien population. “Complete waste of my ****in time,” he said
angrily.
The play, Blood Brothers by Willy Russell, is a twisted tale of two brothers born on the same day and from the same womb, yet they live in two entirely different worlds.
Billy, an optometrist in Ilium, New York, finds himself "time tripping" with the people on Tralfamadore. To the Tralfamadorians time does not exist. Billy can be on Tralfamadore for years, while only being absent from earth for a microsecond (26). Billy's "time tripping" also allows Vonnegut to join the three main settings and experiences of the book: the horrors of the war and Dresden, Billy's normal life in Illim, and his time on Tralfamadore.
Ripley is now the last person standing on the Nostromo, and it is up to her to kill the alien, so she can return back to Earth. After Ripley believes she successfully blew up the Nostromo and is on her way back to Earth, she discovers the alien is on the shuttle with her, leading us to step nine in the hero’s journey: the chase scene. The ninth step, “is the point where the devil chases the hero has the last obstacle to overcome before really being safe and free” (Seger, 338). With quick thinking, Ripley jumps into a space suit, straps herself into a seat and opens the shuttle’s airlock, forcing the alien out into space. However, the alien is shown to be clinging on to the ship. When it tries to re-enter through the engine, Ripley switches on the engine, killing the alien instantly. With the alien destroyed and earth safe, Ripley finishes the hero’s journey by going into hypersleep, hoping her shuttle will return back to
side and leads to him threatening to kill him. But who is to blame for
death. The play is mainly about the two boys, but it is also about how

Parker is the friendliest person you know. He starts off slow with others, but once you get to know each other, you feel like he is your long lost brother. Parker and I are basically Thing 1 and Thing 2. Brothers some people might add. We’re always there for each other no matter what the situation is. From picking each other up after a fight to picking each other up from on the turf of a football field. No one can get in the way of us and no one ever will. Parker and I are brothers. Some people might say we are just really good friends, but they are very wrong.

In my previous paper I wrote about how the event that changed my life the most was my brother being born. The fact that I am not very close to my family motivated me to write this essay on my brother. I hate family vacations, family fun night, eating dinner together, and other things that involve my family. I dread these family centered activities. There is, however, one member of my family that turns this dread into joy. The one member of my family that puts a smile on my face is my little brother.
We have all had an event in our lives that feels like it will define you for the rest of you life. Early July in 100 degree heat made it a marvelous day for baseball. We’ve played in this heat since 10 A.M. and just finished playing our fifth straight game vs. Rollingstone. Now we just have to win two more games against our rivals the Byron Bears, and we would get to take home that shiny, gold trophy that has called our name since the moment we arrived. My life experience playing two high pressured games shows my nervousness in the first game vs Byron, in the second game vs Byron, and in the end of the game.
One life-changing event that has impacted my life was the decision to join my high school lacrosse team going into my freshman year. I didn't know too many people going into my first year of high school besides my close childhood friends. I had been playing soccer for most of my life and had been attending the high school soccer camp to prepare for tryouts. My friend called me a week before school started and asked me if I wanted to join him in at one of his practices. That call changed my life forever.
One morning I woke up and got ready to go to the park. I wanted to find a sport that was fun and would help me get in shape. When I arrived at the park I tried several different sports. I would have to try playing different sports to find out which one is going to be my favorite. I like a sport that offers me enough exercise to stay fit and doesn't cause pain in my muscles.
I had landed in the airport about three hours ago but it seemed like days since I was in the warm sunny weather of the southwest United States. I was forced here because the rest of my family had moved here. They all hated the warm weather.
Do you ever look at someone and say “Oh they’re not normal”? When you see my brother you would think he 's just some ordinary kid. Everyone has something unique about them and when it comes down to my brother, Carter, I would consider it to be more of a special talent. Sometimes the smallest thing about the person can really shape them to be who they are. He pays more attention to detail in the way he looks at things. Carter is a thinker, and very task oriented. If I could name one thing about my brother it would be that he 's unconventionally focused on things that may not be as important to other people as in the way he thinks and looks at things. When I was little my brother and I use to play with Legos. The whole time I would pick the colorful ones and just start putting them together. My brother on the other hand would buy a specific set and he
