In this essay i will be talking about my soccer life. Well first off I'm 15 years old and i started playing soccer when I was 7, one day my dad and I were driving home from his basketball game at old airport gym and we passed the soccer field. As soon as we passed I asked my dad what was that that those kids were playing as soon as I knew it by the next week I was signed up and ready to play. Going into a new sport that I have never played l was honestly kind of scared to start but on my first day of practice i remember asking my dad where do the shin guards go, he laughed and said my shin.
since that day I've have so much love and passion for the sport, as a kids I always had the mindset of win and i honestly did not like losing. I remember starting and people saying I was a natural I could score just about 7 goals a game. My dad started to pay me for each one 5 dollars a goal so of course I wanted to score. When I played for ayso they had a select team that would go to oahu and play in a tournament i got chosen for the 4 time and turned it down once.

The first club I tried out for was kona crush, I remember being scared I wasn't gonna make it but a couple days later we got the call that I made it I was so happy I played for they for about 1 and a half years. Soon after my dad had a friend that started a club it was called catcha fire I played for them for about another 2 years. About a year ago I went back to crush because catcha fire ended and had no
From an early age I always knew I would be playing soccer my whole life. My dad showed me the ropes of how to play and got me interested right away. By the age of three I had started playing, and to this day I have not stopped. Soccer has been a huge part of my life and I don’t know where I would be today if I never played. I met some amazing people playing soccer including my coaches who encouraged me and told me never to give up as well as my teammates who became my friends and were always there for me.
I remember, freshman year, I was scared, none of my middle school friends went to my new high school, and I didn’t know anyone. I was a shy girl and had been shoved out of my comfort zone. So as the weeks and months went on I made only "school friends", basically just acquaintances you meet and only talk to in school. Eventually soccer season came around, and of course my dad convinced me to continue playing as I definitely did not plan on putting myself out there like that. Not only did playing soccer on my high school's team introduce me to my best friend, but I've met some of the best people, made memories I'll never forget, and learned extraordinary lessons I couldn’t have learned any
One incident that happened to me that change how I thought about sports was when I first started playing soccer. It all started when my mom said that I should join a sport to get me more active. It took me awhile to choose soccer at first because there were so many sports to choose from. I told my mom I wanted to play soccer. She signed me up to play for a non competitive league (GYSA) so I can learn the basics of the sport. She also told me to play I would have to maintain good grades. After hearing that i always tried my best in soccer and school.
It was about sometime in 2015 or 2016, and it was my first soccer game which I was really excited about.
While I was in high school, I joined the soccer team. There were 15 girls in a team. There were three girls, whose last name was Lepcha. Who think that they play better soccer then everybody in a team and they do play well but not good as they thought they were. They had started playing soccer for one or two years ago. There were two other girls, whose name was Sabina and Dilu. They were my best friends. My one friend Sabina had played soccer for quite long and she played well but she did not have an attitude as Lepcha did. My second friend was Dilu; she was not that good at soccer. It was her first time playing soccer just like me. I do not know other people who were on a soccer team but the one thing I know about them was that it was their
There are certain moments in your life where you choose to pause and take a mental picture to help you remember every detail. For me, this moment took place on the sideline of my sixth grade championship soccer game. As a child, I was never drawn to soccer as a sport. I started playing when I was five for the sole purpose of playing with my friends during the weekdays. I did not even begin liking soccer until three years later when I was eleven. But even though my feelings about it changed, one thing about my soccer career always remained the same. My dad attended every single game. He stood in the scorching hot with lemonade and oranges. He stood in the freezing cold with hot chocolate and marshmallows. He would cheer me on for every little move I made during my games. It was through my soccer career that I began to understand and appreciate all of the sacrifices that my dad has made for my sake.
“She shoots, she misses, she scores!” Throughout my childhood, soccer was the rock that kept me stable. At four years old, as I dribbled across the field with a ball at my feet, I was easily distracted by the grasshoppers bouncing from blade to blade in the grass. I fell in love with the game as I scurried around aimlessly, hoping to place the ball in the little yellow-rimmed pug net. My love for the game never subsided, but as the years went by, the game was not as simple as scoring in those little pug goals and watching the grasshoppers hop by.
Opportunities There comes a time in everyone's life where you need to set your priorities and make your dreams become your reality. My step dad once told me “ if you want something in life, you need to work your ass off, because someone somewhere is.” This really got me thinking and its a life moral that I've lived by. If you want to pursue your passion whether it be in art, music or dancing then it's better to start now then too late. You don't want to wake up one day and realized you've missed your opportunity to make your dreams come true.
In 2013, I was a lousy soccer player, and I knew it. This was my first year of playing the sport since the age of five, and I myself at eleven was ready to quit before the first practice ended. By some miracle I had made the competitive team, and ironically, I wasn’t very competitive
I would be lying if I said entering high school I was awaiting all the exciting opportunities in front of me. In reality, I had zero interest in what high school or my community had to offer. In fact, I fought my parents for not joining high school soccer, despite my involvement in soccer since I was four years old. Obviously, I lost this fight, and this year I spent my spring afternoons, after online school, on the hot turf field. This marked the start of my high school involvement.
I’ve always wanted to play soccer. My coaches always told me I had potential, but I never truly believed them. Soccer has always been a part of my life. There’s something about it that just gets me captivated in the moment and forgets everything around me. Whether I was playing while the sun was shining or during the coldest winter, it always felt the same.
My narrative story is about my experience in soccer. This sport is my favorite out of all of them. It is a sport where you can show off your skills and it is easy to play. The reason I play soccer is because my dad inspired me to play this sport. I am very thankful to play this sport.
Everyone have a passion that they are motivated and desire for it.for those who wonder what is a passion, Passion is an intense emotion, a compelling enthusiasm or desire for something. my passion is soccer. it’s that because soccer is not a thing you just play it but you dream it of it and plan for it. to play pro soccer you have to pass different struggles and get motivated every second, every minute, and every day to live your dream.
The ball is passed straight to a young player's feet, wearing a number 21 Barcelona jersey. He looks down at his feet and then looks up again knowing exactly what to do. The ball glued to his feet, he starts taking small touches as an indication that his challenging on the defender. The defender pools up towards him and before you know it, with incredible speed and precision he steps over the ball once and flicks the ball from the inside to the outside of his foot. The ball rolls through the defender's feet and the player continues to run with the ball after nutmegging the defender.
I remember it vividly because it was the first high school game my parents came to, and it was on camera. I spent a few days devastated in my room. I would have to have surgery and take a year off from the sport I loved, but I did not let this keep me down. After some extensive rehab, I was able to return to my sport and continue where I left off. Tearing my ACL was a horrifying event, but one that I persevered through because there is nothing I love more than a
