Why should we get a dog?
An informational essay on the answer to the question of every kid

“Mom, can we get a dog?” The repeated question simply hangs in the back of parents minds. Most just simply look at their kid and say:
“No honey it is a big responsibility. Maybe in a little while.” but this essay is going to show why a little while might not just be so far away because even though dogs do inflict challenges, there are many positive arguments why dogs should be apart of every household.

One reason why dogs are beneficial to people is that they improve people’s mood in a positive way. Science (and people!) have proven that dogs raise our mood! Dogs give people a reason to ‘come home’ after a long day of work, or at least something to look forward after sitting in a classroom all day. Two, after always being judged on how we look, how wealthy we are, it is nice to have someone who does not care about all those things, and will still love you . Dogs always have a way with cheering people up whether it is a nice cuddle session or a fun game of fetch, when you do a favor of cheering up your dog, you may also be cheering yourself up! …show more content…

You may not realize it, but dogs might actually be your personal trainer! Whether the woof at the door signals your to stop watching your favorite shows on netflix and go on an evening walk, or the tug at your shirt to go and play fetch, dogs might not be reminding you to exercise them, but to also remind you to get up and take a walk!
