Henry Hudson was born in England in 1565 his mother name was not found, but his dad name was John Hudson. Later in his life he married a woman name Katherine Hudson and had three kids. In 1607 Henry Hudson spent his career searching for different routes to Asia. He ended up opening the door to further exploration and settlement of North America.
In 1607 the Muscovy Company became one of his sponsors. In 1609 Hudson

became the commander of the Dutch East India Company. Henry Hudson wanted to find a northwestern passage to Asia. But the ship he was on called the Hopewell could not travel through the thick ice. After 1609,the English lost interest in Hudson’s hope to find a northwestern rote,so the Dutch East India company hired him.
