The Life of William Shakespeare England's most talented and well know poet and dramatist was born on April 23, 1564, at Stratford-upon-Avon, located in the cetre of England. His father, John, was a glove-maker and wool dealer involved with money lending. His mother Mary Arden was the daughter of a Farmer. William was the third out of eight children whom all died young. His father became Mayor in 1568, after serving on the town council for many years. William went to a junior school before going to the Grammar School when he was 7. There he learned how to speak and write Latin. No one knows what he did after he left school at the age of 14. In November 1582 he married Anne Hathaway. He was 18 and she was 26. They had 3 children. May 1583 they had Susanna then two years later had twins, Hamnet and Judith. Hamnet died at the age of 11. Susanna married a physician in 1607, and Shakespeare's other daughter married to a vintner in 1616. There was a gap in his life where no one had any evidence of him or his wife. Between 1585 and 1592. All people know, is that he left Stratford for London either in 1586 or 87. His reputation was established in London around 1592. His first play he wrote was in 1593, it was called Venus and Adonis. He became a "gentleman" after inheriting his fathers coat-of-arms, even though actors were generally looked at as rogues and vagabonds. He probably wrote his 154 sonnets during this time as well. They were published later on in 1609. His success in London made him very wealthy so he moved into a large home in Stratford. Some of his plays were: Henry VI, Richard III, The Comedy of Errors, Titus Andronicus, The Taming of the Shrew, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, Love's
Shakespeare wrote many different types of plays such as histories, tragedies, and comedies. He had multiple ideas that he wrote about in his work, all ideas are still relevant to us today as they were then. Themes that he wrote about included relationships, love, mercy and forgiveness. He often used the Globe Theatre to add to his performances as in some plays he had the actors rising from the ground on trap doors and had actors changing behind poles to let the plays flow into different acts.
The efforts taking place through different conservation organizations and the State of Florida are making a mixed impact on the survival of Manatees and Sea Turtles. The decline in manatee population has decreased, but due to low reproduction rates, more needs to be done to avoid extinction. The sea turtle outlook is more species specific. Some species of turtle are seeing stabilization in population, while others are not. The State of Florida has a large array of custom license tags that support the conservation efforts taking place within the State. The proceeds go to benefit the local marine life in Florida. With financial resources, state and local cooperation, and through constant research and observation, we are able to learn more about both of these gentle animals. With human awareness of those living in Florida, these two animals will survive
...rients and balance sea floor sediments. Many environmental and government run programs have been created to help the efforts of saving sea turtles. Some of the actions include making mass fishing companies use safer methods to prevent catching turtles, ordinances that control lighting along beachside properties, and small groups protecting nests from their creation to hatching. In addition to these measures, wire mesh gratings are put over the nests in order to protect them from being scavenged by foxes (Kurz, Straley, Degregorio, 2011). Although these efforts do make a positive impact, loggerhead’s migration patterns are so vast and worldwide that it is almost impossible to truly enforce conservation efforts. This is because sometimes they can be seen as an “inconvenience”. It is important that we strive to protect this important component of the ocean’s ecosystem.
A less probable tradition has him as a runaway apprentice, but there is no solid, believable evidence to support this legend. Another widely believed tradition which is almost certainly false is that he left Stratford to avoid prosecution for deer poaching. This theory was broadly based on a rumor involving the Lucy family's deer park. The entire story falls apart because of the simple fact that the Lucys did not have a deer park during the time Shakespeare was in Stratford and indeed did not have one until late in the seventeenth century.

Jose Urteaga is describing a leatherback turtle that has arrived to lay eggs on the beach. Jose works in Nicaragua, Central America. The area is home to five of the world 's seven sea turtles. Nearly all of the turtle species are threatened. The leatherback turtle is critically endangered.
Biodiversity is the variation and amount of species across the globe, or within in a specific geographical habitat. There are three different areas of study within biodiversity; ecological diversity, species diversity and, genetic diversity. Science Book Species diversity is the variety of different organisms and relationships within a specific species, this essay will discuss the declining of species diversity among sea turtles and the implications it has on the worldwide seas. I have chosen to research about the topic because, sea turtles are believed to have been alive during the Jurassic period. However, now all seven sea turtle species are critically endangered or vulnerable, due to human activities such as; commercial fishing, bycatch and, climate change. (WWF, OCEANA, ACTIONBIOSCI)
The Leatherback sea turtle, Dermochelys coriacea, is the largest sea turtle species and is highly migrational. They inhabit every ocean and are endangered in all of them (James et al. 2005, Roe et al. 2014). They require warm waters and tropical beaches for nesting and juvenile development, and cold Northern waters for foraging (Eckert 2002). Their diet is dependent on gelatinous zooplankton (Jones et al. 2012). Their major threats include pollution, bycatch, and egg harvesting. Many initiatives have been created to help their recovery including protecting critical beach and adjacent water habitats and stricter fishing regulations. Important nesting beaches in the discussed area are in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, Panama, Puerto Rico, and Florida (NMFS 1979, NMFS and USFWS 2013). Due to their expansive migrations, international cooperation has been necessary and resulted in international conventions to help regulate international trade of eggs and individuals and protecting ocean habitat between countries (CITES 1973, CBD 1992, IAC 2001, CMS 2011).
The Chelonia mydas, also known as the Hawaiian green sea turtle, or as Honu here in Hawaii, have roamed the oceans for millions of years. Forty years ago this beautiful species was almost completely removed from this earth, but was saved by the U.S. endangered species act of 1973. These magnificent creatures can now be found in abundance in the coastal strand and open ocean biomes of the North shore in Oahu, Hawaii. The green sea turtles occupy different habitats such as; beaches for nesting, open ocean convergence zones and coastal areas for benthic feeding. Unlike other sea turtles, the Honu don’t only use the beaches for nesting, they use them for thermoregulation in the sun. These green sea turtles have behaviors and characteristics
On the planet, there are hundreds of thousands of different species of animals. Turtles, being in the reptilian family of the animal kingdom, are thought to have only two types of species. These types are land and water turtles. However, this is not true. For example, having observed “Turtles unlimited” (iNaturalist, 2015), which is a research project that specializes in reptilian behavior and habitat of turtles, people will come to realize the importance of the different types of turtle species currently observable (U.S. Fish Wildlife Service, 2011). In Florida, there are over twenty types of species that exist today. For example, people, like this researcher, can observe the red-bellied Cooter turtles. Florida is known for its amazing wildlife, but it is also known for its growing human population. With all the trash in Venetians Gardens, it is an environmental
Due to the confusion of a minor mistake from Shakespeare’s time, his true birth date, along with where his education took place remains a mystery. The only things that biographers have to hold onto are suspicions as to where these events could’ve been observed. His suspected is birthday is observed by the public as Saint George’s Day, April 23rd. With only a day given, his exact birth year remains a questionable theory. It is believed that Shakespeare actually attended the school closest to his home in Stratford, known as the “King’s New School”, where he studies grammar. He didn’t choose to continue his studies by going forward into a university. Since there is hardly any factual information about Shakespeare, due to a slight “error”, suspicion arises. ...

Immunosensors make use of antigen-antibody interactions [1, 2] to detect a wide range of analytes which are of great interest in medical diagnostics, environmental analysis, and forensic medicine [3, 4], including pathogens [5], drugs [6], bacteria [7], toxins [8], and biomarkers [9]. Overall, immunosensors employ the same chemical approach of earliest immunoassays, but offer quicker and simpler analytical procedures that may be conducted at the point-of-care [10]. Immunosensors use an antibody immobilized as a transducer. Antigen-antibody binding event result in electrical or optical changes.
To begin, A Leatherback sea turtle faces the environmental threat of pollution. In the text, “Approximately 6.4 million tons of plastic and debris enter the oceans.” This shows that the ocean faces pollution which will get trapped around them and will cause them to die. Next,A Leatherback sea turtle faces the environmental threat of bycatch. In the text fisheries bycatch by seeturtles.org “Incidental capture in fishing gear (also known as bycatch) is likely the greatest threat to sea turtles and many other species worldwide. Approximately 40% of all animals caught in fisheries are discarded as
