My personal goal is to become a director of health program centered around pediatrics. I believe that a master's degree from Colorado State University will prepare me to operate and lead effectively in the rapidly and constantly changing healthcare environment. Colorado State University has produced many scholars who have succeeded in complex and competitive environments such as forensics. I believe that the comprehensive program will enable me to become an effective leader in change and in the competitive environment where quality is demanded and requires attention to detail, skills, talent, and intelligence.
When I was an undergraduate student at George Mason University, schoolwork was simply easy. I had a reputation with my professors for
The knowledge that I will obtain in the public health portion of the program will allow me to be better prepared to understand the social and environmental determinants of health that contribute to the development of diseases, and this will allow me to care for my patients more effectively. As these and other public health issues become more prominent, having a well-trained workforce that is equipped to address community-level health concerns is vital. As a profession, PAs are well educated as primary care clinicians and are able to handle a wide variety of common health care disorders. Adding a master’s degree in public health equips PAs with an expanded skill set which can be used to manage the health of entire communities, specifically those which are
Throughout high school I have dreamed of having the opportunity to attend Indiana University. I have a true passion for babies. I love to learn how babies are developed and how they become such an amazing part of the world. Therefore, I would like to apply to Indiana University and pursue a degree in Pediatric Nursing. I would love to be able to deliver babies and deliver new life into this earth. There are several opportunities available for me to get involved with new leadership opportunities. I want to be able to be a leader for all age groups.
Children get injured or sick every day, and it doesn’t matter whether the child goes to a doctor or a pediatrician they are still tended to by a pediatric nurse. A pediatric nurse has to have many qualities. They also have to take many different classes. A pediatric nurse’s pay can vary from location to location depending on where they are working. Pediatric nurses must endure many different things to make it into this particular work field, and have many different qualities.
After high school people go to college. College is the step where they will figure out their life-long job. I’ve always have wanted to go into the medical field, but didn’t know what I wanted to do in it. I decided I would like to to be a pediatric oncologist. A pediatric oncologist is a physician that specializes in pediatrics. Pediatric oncologists receive further training in medical oncology. Pediatric oncologists help kids who are fighting cancer.
I began my college career unsure of the path ahead of me. I knew I had a passion for medicine, however, I did not know which direction I would take. With the expansive amount of options offered within the fields of science and medicine, it was difficult to narrow down exactly what direction I wanted to take. I gained some clarity the summer of my sophomore year when I stayed at a close friend’s home, whose father, a practicing Medical Physician, became somewhat of a mentor to me. The passionate way in which he discussed the practice of medicine led me to develop an interest in pursuing a career as a physician. He explained that a career in the medical field was about responsibility, the responsibility to work with all members of the healthcare team for the well-being of the patient as well as their family
My future goal and aspiration is to become successful in mentally, physically and more ever being educated as best possible. Now I want to become a Pediatrician and I may change my mind probably once or even twice in what I want my career to be. I am a 16 year old teenager who want the best to succeed on the long run. For now, I have set a goal to become a Pediatrician because I love helping kid and teenage to turn their heads into having a great lifestyle. I would like having a job that could impact families, communities or even the world. The word changing can be interpreted in many ways like such like adjustment, switch transformation, but they all have the same meaning.
Many people in this world want to make a difference in life. However, most people do not want to put in all the effort that it takes to do so. The job of a pediatrician is life-changing to many. Unfortunately, it takes drive and effort that many people do not have, to become a pediatrician. A pediatrician’s job is a highly-skilled and interesting job because he or she has the privilege to deal with and help as many children as possible.
University of Virginia is my sole choice for scholastic development. In my capacity as a frontline nurse, I have laid the foundation for the focus of my research interests and feel that my performance, initiative, and dedication to my patients are genuine evidence of my ability to perform competently and enthusiastically in an academic research setting. I hope that with this degree I can incorporate DNP essentials in my practice and make a difference by focusing on patient experience. No other field could ever provide me with personal and professional satisfaction and I look forward with great purpose to contributing much more. Thank you for your time and
Since starting this class, introduction to health care, I have begun to think about what the future holds for me and what I will pursue with my college degree. At this point in time my career goal is to become a physician assistant in orthopedic surgery. I plan on working in a hospital setting where I can continue to learn and practice my profession. Five years after all my schooling and achieving my license, professionally I see myself working at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, New York, which is a teaching hospital. I would be working on and with patients, while still learning as I practice my previous knowledge. I would be seeing patients with injuries such as an ankle sprain, evaluating x-rays, and possibly sitting on and
Education is neither linear nor static. It requires evolution and fluctuations. I received my undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at UNC Charlotte, and now it is time for a prime conversion to be made. Attending the Masters of Public Health program at UNC Charlotte would open the door for me to pursue my career aspirations in health care. Specifically, I am interested in epidemiological methods in community health. My ambition, perseverance, and work ethic have brought me to a high point, and enrolling in the Masters in Public Health program would raise that threshold even higher.
My personal mission is to improve people’s lives through medicine and care and make world a healthier place by using my skills and coming up with innovative ideas to manage healthcare organizations. There are two goals which need to be accomplished: One is the short term goal which is to be accomplished in a short period, say a year or few months. My short term career objective is to complete my Masters degree in Administrative Science with good grades which will reflect in my resume. Second is the long term goal: what I want to do in the next 5 years and where I want to be at the end of the fifth year by effectively shaping my future in an organization. My objective is to be a Healthcare Services Administrator of a healthcare organization such as hospital or public health department. My degree of Administrative Science with specialization in Global Health and Human Services will help me to develop skills to manage a healthcare facility effectively and efficiently, as well as my human resources skills will help me manage and work with people. I am certain that a master’s in public health from a university such as the University of Illinois at Springfield program will provide the knowledge and skills that will mold me as an individual to work best with the public and sequentially create a justifiable link between the public and the health services, refining the lifestyle of thousands of
My diligence will perhaps be my greatest asset in the challenging arena of Family Medicine. Because of this diligence, I transformed from a shy, somewhat reserved individual into a community leader who could organize service events and provide education and aid to underserved citizens with confidence. My USMLE score are not competitive, but I was always the one to stay behind and I threw myself into studying during my rotations and staying up to date on my own and was praised for my clinical care by my attendings.
