After interviewing the chef I could say that my interest in Pastry Arts is genuine and I will make whatever sacrifice it takes to graduate and achieve my goals for this dream and challenge that is not too far from becoming my career. This will help me as a young adult to contribute supporting my husband and family in having a better future with a little help in our economic needs. Also, one day I will be able to see my other dream come true which is having my own bakery and help other people using all the skills and tactics I’m learning at YTI. Actually, his biggest inspiration in his career is “Buddy Valastro”, well known by his television program “Cake Boss”. “I think he is such a wonderful pastry chef and he has so much to give to every student that is pursuing a career in pastry arts because he loves what he does and also, he’s always very creative. So that’s why he is my biggest inspiration (Ramos, 2014).” His greatest career success, as of today, was being able to set up a candy bar for a wedding in Puerto Rico. The candy bar was all made by him. It had cupcakes, macaroons, cookies, meringues, and all kinds of pastries, and of course, the wedding cake. “It was such a wonderful experience and satisfaction being able to make that couple happy” (Ramos, 2014).

Before Milton Hershey had a world wide known chocolate business, he had a small, not so well known caramel business. Milton Hershey began his chocolate making business in 1893, when his father and him traveled to Chicago to attend a big job fair (Tarshis 14), but it wasn’t until 1900 when Hershey succeed in making the first milk chocolate candy bar (The Hershey Company). Hershey attended an exhibit hall of new and amazing inventions around the world at the fair in Chicago. As Hershey walked into the exhibit hall, he was struck by a delectable smell (Tarshis 14). “Hershey was already a leading candy maker. He had created the largest caramel factory in the country, but he became convinced that the future of his business would be chocolate. At the fair in Chicago, Hershey Bought chocolate-making equipment. He had it shipped back to his caramel factory in Pennsylvania. Then he hired two chocolate makers. Soon the company was churning out chocolate candies in more than 100 shapes” (Tarshis 15).

Alice with her self sustaining restaurant, friends and family based meals. Taking what the community has to offer and giving right back tenfold! thats what being a chef is. Being a chef really has nothing to do with how efficiently you can butcher half a cow, how perfect your battonet slice is, or how aromatic and golden your basic stock is. Being a chef is being a community leader/activist.
Much of Chesca’s time is also consumed with working and attending church. In August of 2013, she began working at Edelweiss Bakery in Prior Lake. Her job is her second priority. Many new friends had been m...

Now, in addition to teaching Machine Technologies courses at Pima Community College, he is the Instrument Shop Supervisor in the Chemical Engineering lab at the University of Arizona. My roommate works in the shop he supervises and comes home with some of the most comic stories I've heard in a while. Between eating their own weight in burros and competing with each other in the latest computer games, they manufacture precise custom equipment that is used in experiments involving everything from lasers to rat dissection. I became interested in this fascinating coexistence of Mexican food, video games and drill presses when I learned of Lorenzo's connection to Morenci.

Jose Andres developed a passion for cooking by watching his parents prepare meals throughout his childhood, each cooking on different days (his mother during the weekdays and his father barbequing in the weekends). Jose mostly focuses on what he learned by watching his dad barbeque his special dish (paella) for the community during the weekends. The narrator explains paella as being a rice dish cooked in a wide and shallow two handed pan. The protagonist frequently uses his childhood to remember various settings, in which his father cooked paella. For instance, Jose recalled the day his father was cooking for a fund raiser at his school.
After a long year of at the University of Miami studying business, he decided to follow his passion for music. In 1995 he performed in person for his soon to be future manager, using a fake name Enrique Martinez, because he did not want to use his family name, and made many demos under this fake name. He didn’t tell his mother or father about his dreams until he managed to land a record deal with Fonovisa, and after he told them he flew to Toronto where he would spend the next five months focused solely on recording his album.
...; this is demonstrated through how he imitates her culinary skills at the nursery. He tends to play act baking cakes, laying the table and table manners.
It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to be a chef. However, if one has a passion for cooking it will pay off. I am a creative person and cooking has endless possibilities of creativity, such as the way you make it and the way you plate it. I want to become a chef and hopefully open a restaurant one day. To do that, you need to learn the basic skills. Julia Child once said, “No one is born a great cook, one learns by doing.”
