This has improved my leadership skills and also my organisational skills as I have had to work to deadlines and organise activities each week. I can also work In an effective team as in the nurture group I have the pleasure to work with 4 other girls and we all have our own targets and deadlines to meet in order for the group to be successful. I have also participated In 4 local dance shows, which has boosted my confidence majorly. I throughly enjoyed working towards a goal of producing a final dance to preform to others for enjoyment. Im also part time employed in a restaurant where it is crucial that i adhere to health and safety procedures and also licensing laws. I am open minded where this course may lead me to as I hope that as I progress I will find an area that I enjoy and perhaps maybe want to work in. at a nurture group; this is where i support vulnerable young adults and be there as a friend, for when they just need someone to talk

What I love about my course is I am able to apply what I have learnt to real business scenarios. I have enjoyed exploring how different businesses operate, such as Cadburys, Timpsons, Tescos, a Coco bean plantation and many local businesses. I have done this through evaluating their marketing strategies, management styles, recruitment processes and strategic decision making. This has enabled me to understand different organisations in terms of their aims and objectives and vision to

In my undergraduate studies, I endeavored to further my knowledge and understanding up to the more advanced levels and achieved an outstanding result. As I started my CJ studies in the Spring of 2014, I became preoccupied by the systematic trainings that I received in the criminological theories, crime correction, and the relevant laws. I was keen to study for this particular program because I understood how this knowledge can be utilized to reduce and prevent crime to benefit the lower classes of different communities. These experiences helped me to build up a solid foundation to carry out higher-level research in the
If I had to choose between security and order or freedom and liberty, I would say that the peoples as a whole gained greater security and order more then the freedom and liberty that the people were wanting. I believe that the basic strategy used back then was based security and order, not giving the people freedoms and liberties. Between the women and the men during the Middles Ages and the French revolution there were a lot of wars and problems that in the end not all the people got the freedoms and liberties that they wished to have, securities and orders are how places were ran back then especially during destruction.

At three in the morning, the phone rang. A trembling voice relayed the news that my friend had fallen into a coma due to an inoperable brain aneurysm. A few days later, her family decided to stop life support after confirmation that she was completely brain-dead. The fact that nothing could be done for her in this day and age, despite all our technological advancements, was a great shock to me. In addition, the fact that she was younger than me made me realize how short and precious each life truly is. Her death inspired me to pursue medicine so that one day, others in similarly hopeless situations, would have a chance to survive. My dream is that one day, I will contribute to bringing medicine one step closer to curing someone with a currently untreatable disease.
