Introduction Abortion should be offered up as an option to every pregnant person, covered by insurance and readily available to anyone that chooses it in the same way any other vital medical procedure would be expected to be - because that's what it is, a medical procedure. The current state of things in the United States the laws are terrifying, and it hurts women.

With the evolving moral standards of society, abortions are becoming more and more justified. Plain and simple, a fetus under 24 weeks is not independent or self-determining, as it is reliant on the woman for survival.
While several Supreme Court decisions have ensured that abortion is a legal right, pro-life activists and conservative legislators have continued passing laws restricting abortion rights and working to end access to legal abortion in the United States. Banning all abortions would not only force women into unwanted births, it would also create dangerous procedures for desperate women to have those abortions they desire.

Put simply, the policies suggested by the vast majority of the pro-life movement, banning abortion, mandating ultrasound or counseling sessions at religious clinics, and restricting contraception, do not reduce the rates of abortion in an area. Their laws outlawed contraception and abortion as part of a program to increase the country's work force. As a result, thousands of unwanted children were born to parents living in such poverty that they were unable to care for their offspring. Many were deposited in orphanages.

The World Health Organization defines unsafe abortion as a procedure for terminating a pregnancy that is performed by an individual lacking the necessary skills, or in an environment that does not conform to minimal medical standards, or both. Women from different parts of the world who don’t have access to medical procedures or their countries laws have made women undergo dangerous procedures to have the abortion they’re seeking. Some methods involve from punching her stomach, swallowing gun powder, or consuming lye.

The number of unsafe abortions in the United States is miniscule, for now. But as conservative lawmakers find creative ways to undermine the Supreme Court Decision of Roe v Wade, such as waiting periods, mandatory ultrasounds and target abortion providers/clinics and subject them to stricter laws than other medical facilities.In such case more and more women will be left with few legal methods to end their pregnancies and could lead to danderous
