In four years from now, space tourists are going to have a new destination in the orbit. The startup which is known as Orion span, is aiming to loft it's 'Aurora Station' in late 2021 and by 2022 it should be set to accomodate guests.
Frank Bunger, the orion span CEO and founder said 'We are launching the first ever affordable luxury space hotel' He unvieled this Aurora idea on the 5th of April at the Space 2.0 summit in San Jose, California.

Staying aboard the Aurora Station promises to be Affordable as a 12-day stay will start at $9.5million. It is said the price is quite a bit less than the amount being paid by tourists in the past. From 2001 through 2009. News has it that seven private citizens had

It is to measure 43.5 feet long by 14.1 feet wide (13.3 by 4.3 metres) and to feature a pressurized volume of 5,650 cubic feet (160 cubic m) as said by their representatives.
For Comparison, the ISS is 357 feet(109m) long and has internal pressurized volume of 32,333 cubic feet. (916 cubic m).
The private outpost is to orbit at an altitude of 200miles (320 kilometres) which is a bit lower than the ISS, which is about 250 miles (400km) above earth on average. As at now, it is not really clear how Aurora Station and it's future occupants will get to the orbit. Orion span is yet to confirm deals with launch providers. Aurora Station is to accomodate four paying guest and two crewmembers. These crewmembers will likely be former astronauts. Most of the guests too will probably be private space tourists. Atleast, initially. Orion span will be available to a variety of customers, including government space agencies. The Space hotel will get bigger over time. If everything goes as planned. As demand grows. Orion span will launch additional modules that will link up with the original core outpost, Bunger
Resorts are expected to have hotel rooms that make their guest feel like they are at home. The Great Wolf Lodge goes “above and beyond” expectations in this area. The on-site hotel has 605 guest rooms. Each room comes with free WiFi, a private bathroom, mini refrigerator, a flat-screen television, a semi-private living area and a full size sleeper sofa ("Great Wolf Lodge"). Every room at this resort is a suite. A standard suite, with two queen size beds will sleep up to six people. This is because of the sleeper sofa that is included in every room. Not bad for a standard suite. If a standard suite is not big enough for you; no problem. The resort has four different kinds of “Theme Suites” that will sleep up to seven people. These suites include a queen or king sized bed with a “themed” area. For example, the “Kids Cabin” suite has an ...
“All told, there is over 6 million square feet of public space at DIA. The airport brags that they have room to build another terminal and two more concourses and could serve 100 million passengers a year. The airport flew 50.5 million in 2008” (Anomalies Unlimited 3). There is no need for that much room in any one airport especially when they are only flying half as many as th...
I was born with an inherent fascination for all things celestial. Ever since I was young, I have been staring at the night sky trying to find constellations, or using my juvenile imagination to create my own. My efforts to find, view, and mentally catalogue everything the heavenly bodies have to offer has led me to employ some over-the-top measures, but the most extreme of them all might be the night I stayed awake through the wee hours of the morning to catch a glimpse of a meteor shower. Over the course of an entire year, the memory of this stupefying event is still as lucent and vivid as it was that very night so long ago.
In the novel, October Sky, it is a story about a boy who has a dream to make rockets and not just be a coal miner. After graduating high school, the boys of Coalwood would normally go into the career of coal mining or be lucky enough to get a football scholarship. Sonny had no interest in coal mining and was not athletic; both of those choices were out of the picture for him. He is the son of Homer, a coal miner, and Elsie Hickam. He also has an older brother named Jim who was an amazing football player. Sonny and his five friends wanted to be something other than coal miners. They formed a group called the Big Creek Missile Agency aka the BCMA. The six of them worked very hard to learn calculus, test different types of fuels, and get a textbook about rockets for the school, to make the best rocket. Sonny was a product of the setting he made, he broke free from the Coalwood setting, and he was successful doing it.
Our inquisitive America, extensively interested in science, geography, history, and art, had an enormous discovery sitting in its backyard. The Corps of Discovery – installed with dangerous travel, difficult interactions, and golden opportunities – was America’s greatest expedition, led by the famous Meriwether Lewis and his chosen partner, William Clark.
Human minds cannot comprehend how colossal an idea like space is. To obtain a firmer understanding of what or who is floating around up there, scientists all around the world invest their entire fortune and lives into exploring the unknown. Many explorations have proven successful in expanding human knowledge about space, but Skylab, America’s first space station, has demonstrated triumphant in three different space missions documenting the foreign world (Dunbar, “Part I”). Skylab Space Station was a revolutionary development in the history of space exploration with its many missions and daily life for its astronauts.
In Bright Star, Keats utilises a mixture of the Shakespearean and Petrarchan sonnet forms to vividly portray his thoughts on the conflict between his longing to be immortal like the steadfast star, and his longing to be together with his love. The contrast between the loneliness of forever and the intenseness of the temporary are presented in the rich natural imagery and sensuous descriptions of his true wishes with Fanny Brawne.
The Orion Nebula contains one of the brightest star clusters in the night sky. With a magnitude of 4, this nebula is easily visible from the Northern Hemisphere during the winter months. It is surprising, therefore, that this region was not documented until 1610 by a French lawyer named Nicholas-Claude Fabri de Peiresc. On March 4, 1769, Charles Messier inducted the Orion Nebula, M42, into his list of stellar objects. Then, in 1771, Messier released his list of objects for its first publication in Memoires de l’Academie.1
The Corps of Discovery’s journey from September 25, 1804–April 6, 1805 led them upstream the Missouri River, traversing through the Dakotas to their eventual wintering refuge near the Mandan Village. Along the way, the Corps inevitably encountered numerous Indian tribes. To complete their journey, Lewis and Clark had to overcome the vast differences between the culture of the Corps and of the Indian tribes to avoid violence and facilitate the flow of supplies. Lewis and Clark’s commitment to peace and active involvement in Indian affairs allowed the Corps of Discovery to establish favorable relations with the tribes, resulting in trading dynamics key to the party’s survival through the winter at Fort Mandan.
When one thinks about the space race one’s mind automatically envisions connotations of the cold war; the Soviet Union battling against the USA for technological supremacy in spaceflight capabilities. This was not only a strategic race for national defence reasons but was also seen to be a pivotal stand point of national superiority. This is also the main basis of the majority of space law still in force today. But the reality is there is a space race occurring right now in the present day, not for national supremacy but instead for commercial supremacy no longer is there a search for strategic advantage it is now a race for profit gain.

There are eight planets in our solar system. The first planet closest to the sun is Mercury. Therefore, Mercury is the hottest planet. Mercury’s surface is cold. However, in the daytime Mercury can get as hot as 840 degrees fahrenheit, which is 450 degrees celsius. During night time the temperature can decrease to 275 degrees fahrenheit, or -170 degrees celsius. Mercury is the smallest planet. Mercury is the quickest planet to move around the sun. Its speed is approximately 112,000 mph along its elliptical orbit. Mercury can move around the sun in 88 days. There are craters in mercury, and scientist believe ice is in the craters.
Ever since the beginning of time there have been stars. Not only stars in the sky, but moons, planets, and even galaxies! Astronomy is defined as the branch of science that deals with celestial objects, space, and the physical universe as a whole. In other words it is the study of space, planets, and stars. Throughout the ages, many people have used astronomy to help them learn about the universe, our own planet, and even make predictions about life itself. Understanding astronomy means understanding where it originated, the different groups/cultures that used it, and modern purposes of the science of the stars.
