What ever happened to originality anyway? Remember when every movie was unlike the last, when every book you read was a completely different experience, when every song didn’t song didn’t sound like an electronic mess? Nowadays, originality is nothing short of a rarity, people tend not to be as original simply because it’s a risk, specifically in the media. Media being television, movies, music, video games and books. The reason originality is a risk is because of sales and popularity, things that people are familiar with tend to be more popular, like internet memes. Of course memes are generally unoriginal garbage, but since so many memes are similar to one another, and have cringe worthy jokes that everyone’s heard before, people love them! Memes are so popular, BECAUSE people are so familiar with them, because they’re used to them. But when someone makes a genuinely original joke on the internet, no one really cares, no body’s familiar with this joke, they just want their unoriginal memes! Of course this is sort of a vague example, a more well-known example of unoriginality is in video games, and yes, it’s Call of Duty, this is going to be discussed in a later paragraph though, since there is quite a lot to talk about. Enough with the biased-ness of the author, let’s be clear; it’s obvious that people (generally big companies, like Sony, or Activision) are afraid of being original, simply because they’re afraid of the negativity it could cause, or it could even cause financial disaster. “What if our product doesn’t sell, it could cause financial problems!” or “What if people hate it?” These are the things going on in the minds of the big companies which prevents them from doing someone truly original and unique. As stated before, people tend to stay away from originality because they’re afraid of the consequences, and because success is much easier to achieve when just improving on something existing, instead of creating something entirely new, and that’s what Tarantino did, and it worked.
A lack of originality is seen literally everywhere, notable examples include; Call of Duty, The Hunger Games, Pulp Fiction and ‘Got milk?’ Originality is a risk, there can be consequences, the inability to be original, and “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it”. People are just afraid of being original, maybe because they’re selfish, or maybe because they have no choice. The reasoning in the previous paragraphs explain why there is a lack of originality, mostly in the media, but also advertising.

In conclusion, there are notable differences and similarities between the book, and movie Frankenstein. The differences start with the education of the monster, the plot, the ending of the story, and the characteristics of the monster. The similarities dealing with the creation of the monster, and the turning point of the story. The differences and similarities preserve the genre themes, and the main points in both the story and the movie.
In the video produced on TED “Embrace the Remix” by Kirby Ferguson, he discusses the importance of understanding that “creativity comes from without not from within and that we are not self made but dependent on each other” (Ferguson, 2012). Ferguson discusses how everything is a remix and defines remixing as copying, transforming, and combining. He makes a logical sound argument through the use of logical fallacies to convince his viewers. Ferguson argues how remixing helps creativity through the use of logos by providing cases of Steve Jobs building off ideas, appealing to ethos with poisioning the wall fallacy, and emotionally appeal to the viewers through pathos with appeal to tradition.
Vladek and Anja Spiegelman were survivors of the holocaust. They were both able to brave the harsh conditions of Auschwitz and the other acts of brutality employed by the Nazi regime in World War II. However, they both experienced some losses and acquired mental and physical scars because of their survival that they would carry with them until their respective deaths. Vladek Spiegelman became a frugal hoarder who is quick to distrust people and is generally not a pleasant man to be around. Vladek most likely suffers from post-traumatic stress because of his survival, which is probably what dictates his unpleasant behavior and skepticism. Anja Spiegelman was able to survive too, but at a high mental cost. She eventually ended up committing suicide, most likely in order to escape the horrors that she had faced. Where Vladek and Anja Spiegelman differ is how they were able to survive based on the way they were able to cope with situations and problems by utilizing different strategies, and the way in which they were successful in the end.

In “The Fish” by Elizabeth Bishop, the narrator attempts to understand the relationship between humans and nature and finds herself concluding that they are intertwined due to humans’ underlying need to take away from nature, whether through the act of poetic imagination or through the exploitation and contamination of nature. Bishop’s view of nature changes from one where it is an unknown, mysterious, and fearful presence that is antagonistic, to one that characterizes nature as being resilient when faced against harm and often victimized by people. Mary Oliver’s poem also titled “The Fish” offers a response to Bishop’s idea that people are harming nature, by providing another reason as to why people are harming nature, which is due to how people are unable to view nature as something that exists and goes beyond the purpose of serving human needs and offers a different interpretation of the relationship between man and nature. Oliver believes that nature serves as subsidence for humans, both physically and spiritually. Unlike Bishop who finds peace through understanding her role in nature’s plight and acceptance at the merging between the natural and human worlds, Oliver finds that through the literal act of consuming nature can she obtain a form of empowerment that allows her to become one with nature.
The films The Searchers and Avatar both make use of the master narratives of regulating social order and disorder. One is used as a way to reinforce this narrative, while the latter is shaped more towards critiquing the overall of ideal of the American social order. The struggle presented by an external threats in both films give the opportunity of interpreting and contrasting the master narrative and the effects that can come from imbalances in social orders.
The theme death has always played a crucial role in literature. Death surrounds us and our everyday life, something that we must adapt and accept. Whether it's on television or newspaper, you'll probably hear about the death of an individual or even a group. Most people have their own ideas and attitude towards it, but many consider this to be a tragic event due to many reasons. For those who suffered greatly from despair, living their life miserably and hopelessly, it could actually be a relief to them. Death affects not only you, but also those around you, while some people may stay unaffected depending on how they perceive it.
The creative class is an emerging socioeconomic class in the United States. Richard Florida, a well-decorated Professor, defined this new class of Americans. Richard Florida focused on social and economic theories, which has developed a popular reputation in many cities today where the creative class has been adopted. This new class of Americans emerged after Richard Florida debuted his book The Rise of the Creative Class: And How it’s Transforming Work, Leisure, Community and Everyday Life in 2002. After 2002 postindustrial cities began to move to more economic development.

This report analyses a 60-second American online video advertisement for the Hyundai Car finder ' First Date ' advertisement in 2016. According to USA Today, this advertisement made a Super Bowl commercials in 2016. (Woodyard, USA TODAY 2016). The report contains a description of the advertisement, an evaluation of creativity, predictions about consumer responses and a recommendation for the agency. Creativity is assessed by examining two Divergence Measure dimensions in the Creativity in Advertising Model developed by Smith, Yang, Bucholz and Darley (2007). Consumer responses to the creativity of the ad are predicted by using two stages from the Hierarchy of Effects Model by Smith, Chen & Yang(2008). Hyundai, one of the important vehicle manufacturers in the South Korea, employs about 75,000 people and has access to 193 countries through 5,000 dealerships. (Hyundai 2015)

However, true creativity is the ability use creativity to generate value to not only appeal to audience but also the brand. (Terranova 2014) Creative advertising draws consumer’s attention and motivates them to purchase the products.

Since we are born we have imagination and as we grow up this imagination may increase or decrease. Creativity strongly relies in our imagination. Depending on different circumstances people learn to express their creativity openly while other people close themselves and believe they do not have creativity. Creativity is a natural talent that every single human has. Creativity can be used to solve a complex problem in a different manner or just to find innovative ways to have fun. Creativity is thinking out of the box. Even though creativity cannot be taught from scratch there should be a class that is specific for creativity.
