Organizational Structure Partial Hospitalization to Community Based Program To develop an Organizational Structure moving from a Partial Hospitalization (PH) program to a supported service such as ACT one must first look at the differences in the services that are provided in a PH program. The individual will have to properly compare PH programs with ACT lively programs. In an article written by Arthur, Okeke, Ali Abrahams, OHara. Stevenson, Warner, Bolton, Lim, Faith, Kind, Davidson, Poplawski, Rothbard and Salzer (2011), the authors noted that changing from PH to a supported service program requires a system transformation that include the planning and participation from stakeholders. Therefore, they must identify the strength based assessment of resources and needs; technical assistance; and changes in funding strategies (p. n.d). This transformation would also include a change in organizational structure and communications, required staffing, procedures for intake, admission and discharge; maintenance of client records, clinical services; and community
Leaders recognize improving clinical quality will have many benefits for both, residents and the organization. For example, it will benefit residents by improving satisfaction, reducing complications, and improving their quality of life. It will benefit NCH by reducing turnover, improving occupancy rates, attracting top talent, and enhance employee satisfaction (Advancing Excellence in America’s Nursing Homes, n.d.). Increasing professional development opportunities will be key for improving clinical quality. Professional development enhances the clinical staff’s competencies and will decrease turnover, which will enable NHC to experience a greater financial return on their development
Target Corporation's strategic structure plans are continuing staffing the organization and assemble a well-talented management team. Also, continue recruiting and retaining employees with the needed experience. Another option is to acquire, develop and strengthen resources and capabilities in performing critical value chain activities to match changing market conditions and customer expectations. Target Corporation needs to explore multidivisional or matrix organization structure to facilitate strategy execution, delegate authority, and managing external relationships (Thompson, Peteraf, Gamble and Strickland, 2016).

Other effective services utilized include crisis intervention teams, case management, Assertive Community Treatment programs, clinic services, and access to psychiatric medications (Honberg at al. 6). These services support the growing population of people living in the...
Rather than preparing graduates in education or consulting as previous graduate nursing programs had done, this program educated psychiatric-mental health nurses as therapists with the ability to assess and diagnose mental health issues as well as psychiatric disorders and treat them via individual, group, and family therapy (ANA, 2014). Thus, the Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist (PMH-CNS), one of the initial advanced practice nursing roles (Schmidt, 2013), was born. After Community Mental Health Centers Act of 1963 led to deinstitutionalization of individuals with mental illness, PMH-CNSs played a crucial role in reintegrating formerly institutionalized individuals back into community life (ANA, 2014). PMH-CNSs have been providing care in a wide range of setting and obtaining third-party reimbursement since the late 1960’s. In 1974 a national certification for PMH-CNSs was created (APNA, 2010). Subsequently, PMH-CNSs began to be granted prescriptive privileges in the Pacific Northwest in the late 1970s, that practice has now spread to 37 states and the District of Columbia (APNA,

Discharge planning for these patients into the community does not consider living in shelters and assisted living facilities. The revolving door situation creates negative outcomes for patients and organizations. These organizational alternative housing services do not provide medication supervision, therefore adherence to medication regimen and treatment is not provided to them. Consequently, they return to hospitals seeking follow-up treatment. Unfortunately exacerbation of mental illness symptoms is inevitable reflected from premature discharge and inadequate follow-up care. It is imperative that all patients receive proper treatment and discharge plan. Providing discharge instructions to patients for transitioning to independent living and self-care is not sufficient. Proactive health interventions and planning organizational strategies are needed to improve health outcomes for patients who are living in health care institutions (National Health Care for the Homeless council,
An organizational analysis is an important tool to become familiar with how medical businesses and organizations are able to meet standards of care, provide services for the community and provide employment to health care providers. The risk would occur if any of these qualities are left out because every client come from different background and have an illness and a different perspective of life. If any of these qualities is mussed in the process of treating the clients will not recover in time. As the recovery process, prolonged clients will start seeing and feeling faults on them and will have a negative thought in them, which will again prolong their treatment process. It is important to coordinate with other supportive services because, after recovery, clients need a shelter, food and a job for a living. For example, a homeless man was treated and was fully recovered and it is time to release him. As he is released from the institute he/she does not have any place to go. As he does not have option he will end up living on the street again and slowly he will adapt his previous life.so it is important to coordinate with other services for their future after the treatment by providing financial aid, housing, training, and

Organizations in today’s world need to adapt and overcome many obstacles that are predictable as well as unpredictable. Max Weber outlines the five basic principles of bureaucracy which are as follows: The Division of Labor, Hierarchy of Authority, Written Rules and Regulations, Impersonality Principal, and Technical Qualifications. These basic principals were designed to maximize productivity and assert authority over subordinates in the workforce. (Weber, 1968) In present day the basic principles of Weber’s bureaucratic design are still visible in just about every organization. The only variable is to what extent they are applied.
All the organization has its own organizational structure, cultural theory, leadership style to operate its work process efficiently. In real world organizational structure, culture, leadership seems different in speaking, spelling even in meaning but in an organization those three words are linked to each other very closely. Because the way any organization structures and runs on leadership will determine the culture of that place.
