One of the most defining moments of the 1990’s was the televised case of O.J. Simpson’s alleged murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman. The trial was so dramatic and popular on television that many likened it to a soap opera. The story began on June 12th, 1994, when Nicole Brown was outside her front door with her friend Ronald Goldman. Brown had just attended her daughter’s dance recital that night and was now with Goldman, who was trying to return to her with a pair of sunglasses. However, the pair’s life would come to an end when both were brutally stabbed numerous times by an unknown assailant. Many argue that Mark Fuhrman, who found the bloodied glove, planted the glove and other evidence, possibly due to racial motivations. However, even if Fuhrman did happen to plant evidence, some evidence could not have been planted. For example, footprints from the crime scene, which were found to match size 12 Bruno Magli shoes, matched other footprints inside O.J. Simpson’s car. While O.J. denied ever owning those “ugly” shoes, photographs found after the trial showed him wearing them. With the copious amounts of physical evidence, it is impossible to say that O.J. Simpson is innocent. The man’s guilt is evident in his behavior. Before the trial took place, millions watched on television as O.J.
