I stared off into the distance, dreaming about my dreams of living on a rabbit farm with my companion, George. The faint voice of George was speaking into my ear as I stared off into the distance, solely thinking about the horrible action I had just committed. “It's okay, Lennie. Let's take a minute to talk about it. Now, first, I'd like for you to look out into the water. Picture yourself caring for the rabbits on our future farm, the warmth of the afternoon sun shining on you.” George exclaimed. I then proceeded to look into the water and saw rabbits and myself, which quickly faded away until the only reflection in the water that was visible was myself. “George!” I shouted, ”My reflection is gone! I wish George would have been able to see it, but at the same time, I lost all trust and love for him as a friend. I went to the main building and saw an older man outside feeding the rabbits. I walked up to him, and he shot back at me. “Hello there, sir,” he said. You are a man of great size!” The old man stated. Nervous and excited, I said, “I am aware”. What an amazing farm you have this year! I would love to work on it.” “With your size, you would be a great fit for feeding and caring for them. I sell them as pets to the locals.” The old man said. Wow, thank you so much for the opportunity! I would love to care for them every single day and help you with anything you need on this amazing farm of yours.” I said enthusiastically. “It would be an honor to have a helper on this farm; I'm getting old, and you would be a great addition!” He stated. The farm owner took me to my room, which was very modern and well built compared to the last farm's living quarters.
