What is the level of growth experienced by the Nike Company?
Nike Company fiscal 2016 results demonstrated the power of the NIKE, portfolio to deliver continued growth and expanding profitability. Despite significant foreign currency headwinds, they achieved record revenues and earnings per share for fiscal 2016 year. NIKE Company revenues grew 6% to $32.4 billion, gross margin expanded 20 basis points, Net income increased 17% and diluted earnings per common share grew 17% to $2.16. However, Nike Company also delivered strong cash returns to shareholders while investing for long-term growth (Nike, 2016).
